I friend of mine gave me a tape of this show back in 79, it didn't sound nearly as as good as this but it was my first Dead tape nonetheless. The next night's show was in Buffalo and that is my favorite show of all to listen to.

It had something to do with “ripples” in Time and Space. I read about it in Popular Mechanics, or somewhere about this show. Jerry’s guitar actually caused a disturbance within something, called the Space/Time Continuum, or something like that. I was having a High-Time...can’t say for sure. But anyway...it scientifically explains, just why Playing-In-The-Band looks and appears as Still-Motion. Pretty interesting article...check it out. -Q.
