Thank God for Indian. They really shocked me with these Scouts. All this electronic tech is something id look forward to in a cruiser and not in sportbikes where i spend the majority of my time with. I feel like sportbikes peaked in performance a decade ago. And American cruisers are just getting finally getting started with bikes like these giving guys my age (43) who are getting tired of sportbikes and interested in cruisers with so much to look forward to. Awesome video thank you 👍

I have one exactly like that except I swapped the exhaust for a deanspeed one. Really makes it pop. Next thing for any owner of this motorcycle is when pairing your Cardo Packtalk edge and phone you must do it in an order. Pair the headset first by putting it in pairing mode then roll it to “Bike” mode to pair. Then pair for phone (my case iPhone) to the bike. That’s how you can see the music/text/phone calls on your dash without having to use a Phone Mount. BUT if you really want a quad lock go for it. Edit: last bit, sport mode is the only mode. @c.church566111 күн бұрын
The scouts aren't big on cold temperatures. Anything below 50 or so degrees and it'll struggle to start. Couple things you can try to help it start is prime the starter 2 or 3 times, swap the battery out for a lithium or the biggest thing that works, take a space heater and stick it by the engine for like an hour or till the temp on the bike gets up to around 70. Should fire up just fine.

Too much tech in these new bikes
@ravenarrow463111 күн бұрын
That's why I bought both a Royal Enfield Scram 411 and a Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Special Edition. Minimal tech, both are air cooled, and super easy to maintain, especially valve checks on the Moto Guzzi as it's a V twin that's out the sides and not sitting under the tank like almost every motorcycle. They need to make cars like those bikes, instead of this bs that costs $50k+ and costs a ton to maintain while being a nightmare for diy.

OC: Everything about the bike screams it's a Purchase, but damn the fuel measuring is gotta be off. For it to fluctuate so much so easily. It really needs a bigger fuel tank, unless you plan to ride in rain mode forever. Otherwise the looks, performance, suspension and riding position say it's a buy. Until you realize EVERY petrol ⛽ station will know you by first, middle and last name.

Yall can view my stuff if you dont believe me. But i just wanted to say that yes its a 2025 model. And yes the exhaust (stock) isnt great. And yes the touch screen tech package isnt great. I got the tech limited package. Because theres 3 trims you can get. You dont have to have that screen. Tbh to me thats a ridiculous flaw that it takes forever to start. So i got the limited plus a free flow exhaust. Which btw doesnt require a tune. This bike doesnt require a tune or flash for a full exhaust swap. Ive noticed very little difference and the manufacturer said it wasnt required. So thats cool. The 101 is a nice bike. However i dont know how necessary having that upgraded suspension and brakes is just for 6 more horse power. Which btw you can get the standard 2025 scout up to 111hp with a 220$ calibration. So it will have virtually the same engine performance minus the paint job and olins. Which tbh you dont need. But if you want it you should have it. Its just my opinion. Which triggers some 😂
