Hey ChaseTheBro I need some help, even if I'm wearing havels armor or drakeblood armor, 2 hits from a long sword will take away half my health and I have 30 vigor. What am I doing wrong? You seem to take Like 1/6 of the damage I'd normally take. Any advice for a poor ashen one? (Also I do roll and crap but the small chance when I do get hit is what I'm talking about, takes away half my health)

30 vigor is extremely low. You want between 40 and 44. I also wear the life ring +3 which boosts my unembered health to 1469. Armor plays a key role in absorption for sure, but having a good health pool is important

Also rings like the ring of favor +3 life ring +3 and prisoners chain are really amazing rings for boosting, health, stamina and vitality for melee based builds.

@@ChaseTheBro oh yeah, ring of favor never leaves my ring slot. I just visited rosarias bed chamber and rerouted my points to 40 vigor and 30/30 str dex. I'm gonna get to sl125 and get my quality traits higher. Thanks for the advice I believe it helped.
