Spent my whole day testing different weapons in invasions and duels, Poleblade of the Bud is now my most favourite weapon, because its aow has insane range, and it has scarlet rot build up.

Ps. In tight spaces, the crucible wings aow is pretty okay, paired it on the black steel twinblade, holy infusion. Either i got lucky match ups or people actually struggle dodging it, so id recommend testing it

@jakemaxwell3810 moonveil stays untouched for two years just to be "nerfed" by like 1 or 2%. But the second STR builds get something nice it's the anti christ. It's all the evil in the world. I for once welcome an ultra with a good weapon art to combat ganks and punish heals. And to call it the best is just a blatant lie. It does majority physical damage and then a small amount of magic damage. Meanwhile other ultras can be buffed with resin and infused with obnoxious status effects. And I have never one-shot anyone with the correct amount of hp. Honestly with how burst based the 125-200 level bracket is I'd consider it to be pretty tame.

​@@endub6551the new blinkbolt dual axe is pretty nutty too, its the faith version of swiftslash. The best way to counter these aows is go bulky and trade with them, which can only work if you are the host, if you are the invader, you're gonna have a real bad time no matter what.

I noticed that when the explosion happens during the ash of war it actually is coming from the middle of the weapon, not the tip of it. I think if you use the ash at a closer distance after a crouch poke rather than a heavy the explosion itself will be where the opponent is rolling rather than only the tip of the weapon hitting when using the ash from afar. Hope this helps!

Jokes aside, Nanaya's Torch is bugged. When combined with Eclipse Shotel it's basically Fire's Deadly Sin 2.0 with it's weapon skill...

There's also a lot of other mean stuff that came with the DLC. Swift Slash (insta win) Rolling Sparks (one shots other players basically always) Spread Crossbow (literally "spreads" status, especially Sleep) Duelist Shield (try it in PvP; flat out OP) Blind Spot (basically BHS but with damage, stagger and possible R1 follow ups) Fire Knight's Greatsword (Colossal Sword with R1R1-Combo for at least 900 damage) PvP is really one huge mess at the moment and with Rolling Sparks you can trivialize the whole DLC. I've completed my NG+3 run yesterday with a RL 150 with a normal non-cheese build just to create a save file to engage the last boss with Rolling Sparks. It is in fact really unfair for that poor soul of a boss.

Have you found the Euporia Twinblade yet? It's a dex/faith weapon that gets stronger whenever it deals damage, its found in Enir Ilim, after a parkour route that starts just before the Spiral Rise grace, under the bridge where a caster is.

For PvP and human enemies this thing is so OP. For dragons, especially ancient dragons that don’t have targets on their feet, this thing absolutely does not work well lol. Had to go back to GS and giant hunt for a few large enemies that tend to leap a bit.
