..only just finished listening to this episode and probably like many people, its been a revelation about Josh Brooks...great bloke, honest to a fault and a real hard grafter to get where he is today..

Josh interviews so well; articulate, witty, clever and a gentleman.

Changed my mind and on him. I always admired his riding hit was never keen. After listening to this he’s probably my favourite person in bsb now. He seems like a good laugh to go out for a beer with.

My uncle worked for TKA as a mechanic and knew Josh when Josh was starting out and riding a 600. Back then in Oz if one kid binned a bike other team mechanics helped out and that's how they knew each other. So years later I got to meet him at the Phillip Island Classic with my uncle in a classic racing garage. This is when he'd gone over to Europe and England and doing well. He was a bit shy, polite and just a nice guy. Glad to see he's done so well, one nice guy who doesn't finish last!

One of the best yet boys, Josh Brooks is my new favourite rider to follow after listening to this and looking forward to next time he gets on, hopefully after he wins the BSB this year. Well done lads!

Cracking interview. I remember back in the day when JB first came to BSB. I was aware of him but didn't know him well enough as to be a follower or supporter of his. BUT every single week MCN stripped shreads out of him, they were by far one of his biggest critics. They loved Shakey and rightly so, but I genuinely feel MCN stirred the pot and whipped a lot of the fans of BSB into a hate frenzy against JB. I think by going to the NW200 & TT he proved himself to the fans he was a cracking racer and good bloke. Needless to say I don't buy MCN anymore, out of sync tripe. PS great interview Chrissy, Dom & team.

Absolutely brilliant interview with Josh guys.I've always liked him. This series is great.I hope you keep it going.

I really liked this interview. Josh certainly didn't hold back or avoid any questions and came over as a genuinely honest guy. Fair play. I well remember the Donington accident with Sylvain and how even at the time he explained his brakes had failed (and no one believed him). Good on you Josh, you certainly haven't had anything handed to you on a plate. Thanks for the podcast guys!

Best thing Josh has ever done for his public image, he came across really well. I admit i was one of those people Josh that had made a call without all the facts, but your love of just riding in general and the history of racing has me properly converted! Good luck this season, get the job done in bsb and demand a go at tt on birdys Dukes next year!!!

Always liked Josh been following all things motorbike racing since about 1996 actually forgot about Josh's first foray into bsb and was wondering last year why he has badboy on his crash helmet, Then listening to this it came back to me . I can say I never judged him and just a fan of the racing in all classes

Josh uses this interview to get a few things off his chest. He appreciates the time to run through his whole career, and doesn’t pull his punches. Andy Irwin should take heart he’s not the only BSB rider to have the loose cannon tag. Nobody means to crash and take others out do they.

We love ya josh, you have nothing to apologise for, your more popular with the british fans than you give yourself credit for, keep up the racing fella your a credit to the BSB,maybe do a race at Olivers Mount with Dom next year, you'd love it. 🇬🇧 🇦🇺

This was a cracking episode, it would be interesting to get Redding on and get his point on view. One question I do have though is, with BSB being regarded as the best motorbike national racing series, how come Brookesy didn't go to WSBK sooner? He finishes in the top 3 in BSB most years (from what I can remember) and has world supersport experience

Seeing Josh in this light is brilliant. Love his openness although the conspiracy element must screw with his mind :) King of the mountain, but watch out for Ryan Vickers over the mountain, he could be taking your crown.

Sad to say I have just discovered this podcast. I've been watching British superbike racing since Whit won on the fast orange yam, I remember the controversy surounding Josh, always thought there was too much nonsense spouted about that. I've always had a great deal of respect for Aussies coming over here to race, it's literally half a world away. Have a great 2023 season Josh, if the old trout could stick it to the young uns you can too.

It's so refreshing to see riders without the filter of "professional " media types more interested in promoting their own careers. Nice one 👍 I can't help wondering what your podcast would have done for Casey Stoner.... author of the greatest put down ever to be broadcast live (I'm a Rossi fan, but Casey had cojones)

I am a bit surprised by all the comments. I think you can see that Josh is disturbed by the interruption from Dom. Right at the beginning he says let me finish this. I have the felling that Josh tries to tell a lot of interesting stories. And he does not like to be interrupted. He seems to be a very focused serious guy.
