Chasing Autumn South | Fall Colors Road Trip in Northern Utah

Road trip south with me to the deserts of northern Utah to chase sunshine, warm weather and fall colors. I was surprised to see such autumn beauty while road tripping through the the southwest, finding hot springs amidst scenic drives through desert cliffs and sandstone mountains. I love to travel in my van to better weather and views to escape winter storms and sadness. It makes life on the road and traveling full time worth it when I can enjoy warm sun bathing and camping in the desert while the rest of the country has cold days - not to mention all the beautiful drives, quiet campsites, and adventures!

So wonderful to see more of your adventures! The fall colors are beautiful no matter the climate you find yourself in. I'm still getting used to being outside of the hospital. Living alone in a van has always had it's challenges, but getting around the van with a walker presents new challenges. I will be a few months getting accustomed to my new situation before I can think of hitting the road. In the meantime I will travel vicariously with you! What is the genus or species of the invasive plant at 7:23? Not going to lie: it was quite beautiful and had amazing structure that would work well in a home landscape.

Those were all Russian thistle! I put the scientific name shortly after :) would be rough on home landscape because they kill neighboring plants and have spikes that hurt to step on!
