Watched your other vid on catching Spanish with Gotcha diamond jigs, so grabbed some before our trip to Oak Island NC a couple weeks ago. Caught Spanish in the surf 3 days of the trip!!! I agree. Spent most of my life in Maine and sunrise on the Atlantic is special. Spent 10 yrs in Florida on the gulf and the sunsets are stunning, but not the same.

That Spanish couldn’t fight much he had half a tail lol. I love catching Spanish in the surf while I keep an eye on my bottom rods. I have to stay close to the bottom rods tho. I will fish the surf and walk a good ways until I set up my bottom rods but the bottom fishing is my thing on the beach.

I agree. I fish alot from boat but also from shore and I only try and catch large fish and don't waste much time with little things like Pomp's n whiting. I know taste good but they don't out up a fight big enough even on light gear to toot my horn.

Not sure when you filmed this but I was beach fishing with spoons at Fort Pickens Saturday morning and there was nonstop action all up and down the beach within 10 yards of shore was a great outing for Spanish there as well

If you loose so many lures, why not use about 12 inches of steel leader with a snap to attach your lures too it? Also, what size rode, length and line and lure weight, and what weight of line? Not that I will ever get down your way, but I do love to fish.

please be gentle taking out the hook they need to survive injury if your not eating them and please dont THROW them back so roughly like that be gentle. so they can survive and dont get injured when releasing, respect nature. i catch to eat to survive. Nice catches.
