Chasing the tone of Django Reinhardt from the radio recordings at Radiodiffusion française (RDF) from 1947.
The gear I used: Gabojo Kleio 47 Stimer style pickup into a Nocturne Jr. Barnyard octal tube flavour preamp pedal into a Peavey Classic 30 head through a selfmade cab with 12 inch AlNiCo speaker. Recorded with a SM57 front and a Beyerdynamic M201TG in the back of the amp.
