Broke my 5 session blank today with a beautiful short big belly girl of 19 lb. Pike she was 92cm and 19lb. as regards oils I do use groundbait laced with oils and found it beneficial on the river Wye. Agree totally with all your comments regarding single and circle hooks. for pike.

Lee ,well done on the fish m8 ,iv been blanking as well ,i only fish big pits and lakes ,do you think i should use oily fish or concentrate on roach deads as thats what are in the lakes i fish .tight lines m8 .
