Thanks for watching! Mass Central operates on a former NYC branch but does run on a few short segments of the BM Central Mass. I believe the BM also had trackage rights on some of the NYC branch too.

I saw an antenna or arm or signal rise and fall when the train went to swap the rail cars by the lumber storage area. What is it's role please?

Always wonder what these railroads do?? What businesses are they needed for???

They move a lot of bulk products like lumber, cement, chemicals, etc. In addition, they haul a lot of trailers on flat cars (piggybacks).
