That's was more for survival and fun, rather than training. You people on the outside looking in don't know nothing about the muck. I used to run them fields with a bunch of guys out of Belle Glade, but alot of them never played football except Fred Taylor. Belle Glade bred good athletes because of the competitiveness and hardship that people of muck went through.

Muck City is the very most northwestern part of the tri-county area. It's on the eastern shores of lake okeechobee.

sjaidel2003 You can get them any which way you feel you like but I would recommend setting traps or using small caliber rifles (22), or even slingshots. You could try to catch them by hand haha. These boys are some of the best and just catch them for training. Muck is a barren place, it's and hour to get get to the bigger cities on the coast, so football is basically the only thing to do. That old boy was right though about the coast folks, we could swim better than most.

that is why you guys are the best in football, i am from Cuba, and when i was a little boy we had to catch either chicken or rabbits by hand to eat, and was not easy but i was fun, there was particular friend of mine, which happens to be black, OMG that guy was super fast, like flash, he is one of my best friends i consider him my brother, anyway yes, that is what i will do take 22 rimfire and try to hunt... thank you for the tips, best of the lucks with the football and keep up the good training.

They need to catch and release so there would be plenty of them. I'm sure alot of kids do this.

To get better practice, do not use a stick or lunge at the rabbit. It will tire and lay down for you if you chase it long enough, about 2 minutes. We have the same rabbits in CNY, with the star on the face. They are nothing like my pet rabbit. They move mechanically and faster than our eye can register. I n the time it takes for my mind to see the rabbit and bring the image to my mind the rabbit has move 6 times. I kept one in a box and studied it. She could jump 4 ft high and 6 ft out. There was no catching her unless she lay down as my meal. I did not eat her, I let her loose to breed. This can be done all over the US, not only muck city.
