Chasing Reindeer in Phoenix Park & Being Born To Run

A lovely winter's run in Dublin, Ireland. Looking for deer in Phoenix Park & also having a brief chat about how/why humans have evolved to be such wonderful runners.

I live about 600 metres from the park. It's where I do almost all of my running. It's great to have it so close by. The thing about rain in Ireland is not so much that it rains a lot, it doesn't really rain that much, but the rain is generally slow to move on once it hits a rainy patch. So when it rains it tends to stick around for a few hours and because it's not that warm it has an added negative feeling. Interesting to see a running video from up there though.

They're fallow deer, not reindeer. And you shouldn't disturb them.
