Hi there Billy Bass. Will be at the C.C.C. early this yr. Maybe we'll see each other. It's only 1 hr. drive for me & I've never fished it. My boy skated in the Cape Cod hockey league. Driven over both bridges too many times to count so it's WAY overdue!!!

Well done Billy Bass! I've enjoyed fishing for Stripers/Rockfish since the late 70's. And I can say that Chucking 7" Rebels, and Stick Baits is a young mans game. You brought back some good memories. Let me pass this along...underneath every Butt Ugly old Rebel Striper lure is a Solid Bone Colored Striper Catching Machine waiting to get out! A sharp knife will do it, just don't scrape off the eyes

I love the shore challenge you are doing. Love how you are trying different baits to see what they want. Love the catches and size of stripers. Can't think of any dislikes but will sure let you know if something comes up for better videography and such. I'm on the west coast and wish we have stripers that size or at least the numbers running along our beaches like the east coast. Tight lines buddy.

I just watched your channel for the first time and it was good 👍. Also I subscribed for the first time. I will definitely keep a lookout 👀 for that Cape Cod video. Cape Cod is a bucket 🪣 list for me. Maybe one day. As I live in California. Take care.

I was thinking maybe bird since there aren’t too many seals in Jersey….could be seal from the summer prior though who knows

@@billybassfishing There are loads of seals in the Raritan bay year round, I've seen them many times while plugging the bay over the last 40 years.

@michaeloshea3090 old dry dock that's gone now behind Raritan center the big seals used to hang out all over that thing and lay in the sun some wouldn't jump in right away as you pulled up in the boat they were huge.

Not positive but it sure looked like you were hooking the rear treble onto the inside of the ceramic guide. Yikes, I couldn’t look away. Good way to put a crack in your guide and break your line off. Hook it to the foot of the guide instead.

There’s no such thing as a spot burn any longer. Just look at google maps on satellite mode and or NOAA maps. Those spots are so heavily traveled as evidenced by the vid. Here’s a spot burn, Graveling Point lol
