That garage is a good visual of your life balance. Having all the bodybuilding tools you need. Not more, not less. And there's still some room for other kind of enjoyment , represented here by the Slingshot

thanks for sharing details of your training frequency, exercise selection and auto regulation etc! Super interesting! Really interesting that you don't seem to do any side delt specific work (yet still have great shoulders!)

As a very experienced lifter and coach, what do you think deadlifts add to your physique as a bodybuilder that one or two other lower risk movements couldn't? Not trying to critique, just trying to learn from someone who knows alot more than me. Thank you.

Man, I really wanna know too, I’ve got good deadlifting leverages and a solid 1rm but I feel like it’s not really worth it. I’m guessing you are in the same position, really hoping Jeff answers this haha

Some deadlift variations are better than others when it comes to hypertrophy, RDLs and SLDLs over conventional and sumo. Also, training for a 1RM is different from training for general strength/hypertrophy. Jeff does a fair amount of sumo which is kinda unconventional for a bodybuilder but he also does a lot of RDLs which is an excellent movement for hams/glutes/etc.

How many sessions a week are you training and for about how long does each session go? I've heard you mention before your relatively "low volume" of workouts, and I'm trying to get a handle on what that means. Thanks!

2000 Calories per day? That's unbelievable for a man holding as much lean tissue as you.
@vasilzhiliev60572 жыл бұрын
he has a very low weekly activity level, 3.5k average steps or something similar and 3-4 low volume training sessions, so it's not that low of a caloric amount

@@vasilzhiliev6057 Damn, guess i'm blessed to be able to maintain around 2.8-3k at 165. Similar average step count.
