Chasm Lake - Rocky Mountain National Park

Join us on an epic adventure as we hike to Chasm Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park! 🌄 This hike was truly one for the books, offering some of the most breathtaking views we've ever encountered. Our journey took us 6.5 hours to complete, covering 9.18 miles with a challenging elevation gain of 2,711 feet. We followed the Longs Peak trail up to the junction, where we broke off to Chasm Lake, nestled beneath the towering East Face of Longs Peak. The scenery was absolutely stunning, from alpine meadows to the crystal-clear waters of the lake itself.
