She does definitely have plenty of space to run around, but mainly to move the Avatar she uses playspace mover I think. Lets you reposition your avatar regardless of where the actual world floor is hence she can appear to stand on stuff in her antics :)

Filian is great at pantomiming. She has a big open space in her home for her to move like this. I've seen setups for others that have tools, hooked up bungee cords, props, etc to help with their vr shenanigans. AFAIK Filian does this without any props.
