This is not only a mistake of ChatGPT, but basically of the entire modern information technology, because so many untruths and half-truths are spread online (also in the form of advertising) that usually no person with a regular life has enough time to question and research all this. Actually, I'm here for MI, but I still found the video very true and appealing. Thanks.

this is an understatement

okay, I clearly missed some of your vids... last one I saw was the final room tour. So glad you posted this I totally agree, but sadly everyone I work with has bought into chatgpt now.

I've found a way to "look at chatgpt" that is acceptable to me, and use it in a way that suits me. I'll talk about it in a future video ;)

great way to describe it

I wish you would have had some examples.

That would have been good. ChatGPT is swamped though so I can’t get in since I sat and played with it. 😅

For example in this video (english translation available) kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGPJm4WYmJ6Gl5I it says that Tuna and Hammerhead Sharks are mammals, that Descartes went to South America. There is also a simple math problem with a trick and ChatGPT is completely falling into it - A sandwitch and a coffee cost 11€ together. The sandwitch cost 10€ more than the coffee. How much is the coffee? - ChatGPT: Coffee is 1€ (11-10)

i asked it to give me a map of where i can anchor my sailboat for free, it went ahead to 1. not provide a map 2. claim that most of the anchorable sea surface is burdened by fees 3. given the first-hand experience of anchoring my sailboat for free, start to doubt 4. ask it to provide proof of the claim in the form of percentage of anchorable sea surface burdened by fee, can't provide evicende 5. ask it to provide a map containing the surface of anchorable sea-area that is burdened by fees, can't. 6 admit it was wrong and apologize

Hey, that's a really good statement. Probably you saw this comparison made by GPT between chicken eggs and cow eggs. I said to myself "how confident it is!!" despite it's completely wrong.

Missed that one. Funny though. 😂 Good to have an example. I couldn’t get back into chatgpt to print some examples. :)

Been using it fort consulting some info and for learning Japanese by using Romaji, which is a way to put Japanese into words more familiar to English. So far so good, but again I know I have to be careful with it, it can turn not to be that reliable.

Should I subscribe? Fluke Multi Meter Check Modular Synth Check Electronic Builds Check I don't need AI to know this is a channel I would like to subscribe too.

Lol. Well welcome to the channel then. ;) Full disclosure though. The multimeter is a cheap China knockoff and not a real Fluke one… Thought you should know if it was a deal breaker. 😂

I think the English translation would be 'Male Answer Syndrome.' Or, in less clinical terms, 'Bullshitting.'
Жыл бұрын
Hahaha! Male answer syndrome! Such a great explanation. Our forced urge to have the answer to every question so we just HAVE to answer. 😂🙌
@1pcfred Жыл бұрын
It is called, "mansplaining".
Жыл бұрын
@@1pcfred but mansplaining is explaining something for someone who doesnt need the explanation... ChatGPT/guy guessing is more like obsesively answering condfidently (and usually wrong) even though you dont know the answer... :D
@1pcfred Жыл бұрын
@ mansplaining happens when someone doesn't want or appreciate the explanation. Whether they need it or not is another matter entirely.
