Thank you for the great video as always! I am a big Chattanooga fan! And I am so glad that I can find some choices (at reasonable prices) of what they have to offer in my area! And as for the High malt, you are correct that they will appeal more to those who appreciate Scotch Whisky. Case in point - their Cabernet Finish that you call a "drain pour" - I had to go through half a bottle before I came to appreciate it as one of my most unique (not for everyone for sure!) desert whiskeys! The Cabernet Finish is like having your fudge Sundae with a salad (from the strong, green leafy tobacco-forward flavor that is prevalent from start to finish).

The cab finish was like a dirty sock filled with dill pickles. I tried it many times before I ditched the half bottle. And I'm a scotch fan - Ardbeg, Oban, Laphroaig, Ledaig, etc.

Great video been waiting for this one. I liked the russian river but not better then white port. I got lucky and got their harvest release saving it for Thanksgiving but hoping for the best.

Yeah I agree the white port is better but they are both good. What is the harvest release? Hadn’t heard of that one

@@bourbonbill seelbach had it experimental batch 39 havest bourbon. 7 grain high malt , 5 yrs, 115 proof. I have missed all the rest but this one sounded great and was available to pro members.

You had mentioned here that Starlight always has a tinge of youth. I think most of their bottles are four years old. Ever tried any of their five or six year? Wondering if those older years still have the youth.

I haven’t tried any of there 5-6 but at this point they could easily be putting out consistently 8yr whiskey they just seem fine to keep using mostly 4

Exactly haha I had like 1 sip of Cabernet and out it went. Have to be careful with Chattanooga and read the labels carefully
