Yessss! It's fun to do gradient/ombre style mani! Matte nails look amazing, I just always have a hard time keeping them 100% matte after using lotions/oils. Pinterest is the best place for mani-inspo :)

I have weak nails but my new combo is nail tuque formula 2, only rubberized top coat, 2 coats of polish & finally Essie Gel Topcoat. My nails stopped peeling & mani lasts a week and I am rough on my nails.

Love your videos! But be careful with buffing even if it's a small amount and you're trying to barely do anything it can weaken it. Mine use to spit and peel until I stopped buffering and now I also use OPI Nail Envy (it's a little pricey but it works) if you're looking for something that really works I recommend that product. How you had amazing holiday and happy new year!

Why not use acetone to remove nail polish? I used to not use it. But then when I started struggling to remove some polishes, I noticed it removed them so quickly. Acetone one is my go to. I know it dries, but I put moisturizing products on after.

I’ve heard in conjunction to the Seche Vite polish, you “have” to buy their restore drops because of that exact reason. I had the same issue with the top coat getting thick and stringy at that half way point, but that’s why they make those drops!! Hope this helps :)

Why shouldn’t you use acetone to remove polish? I thought that’s what it was for???

It removes polish incredibly, but it's also very harsh and drying (especially 100% pure acetone). So I'm trying to use more non-acetone removers for my regular manicures. I don't think it's possible to remove a gel mani with anything BUT 100% Pure Acetone though. So, planning to save it for those :)

Don’t use acetone!! Use thinner , acetone will ruin your polish. Thinner is super cheap at Sally’s. 🥺and you can keep that bottle for whenever you need it. Just a tip 😅
