That scene makes more sense now. I noticed his voice was a little different at the beginning of his question "Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?" At the beginning, his voice broke up and I always wondered why they filmed it that way. After watching this chat, I found the scene and the film shows that he was dealing with a problem in his throat. If you watch closely, you can see after he tells Anakin he has good news that he swallows pretty hard. I had never noticed that before.

I got to meet him at Anaheim and get his signature and he was really nice! I happened to arrive at his table when they just got back from a break and I got to see him talking to his staff. Truly awesome

Brilliant!!! - & I always wondered about just _how_ he got his 'sore throat!,' something George had said about that opera scene when he mentioned, I think it was during a behind the scenes docu' or commentary or somewhere?, that Ian was suffering from laryngitis but that it actually made his long speech sound even cooler as a result, man I wish I sounded like that whenever _I_ had a bad throat!! hahaha "Charlie - Rrriiiiise!!!" that's so cool! p.s.
