I was disappointed he wasn't in Rogue One. I love, love, love Ian and they mentioned the Emperor so many times in Rogue One, but they never showed him. I suppose it was to highlight Darth Vader's return to the screen, but I don't think having another villain make his return would have distracted.

I'm from the future, he came back for Episode 9 and also Obi Wan Kenobi's series. They're hinting him a lot in Andor, but I keep my expectations low just in case

They should've included him in Rogue One. They brought back the James Earl Jones for the voice of Darth Vader, and they digitally recreated Tarkin, so why not? It would've been pretty cool to see all 3 of them in a scene together...

Justin Zoto I'm talking about from the movies point of view not ours. I wouldn't really call episode 5 as a reveal of the character, more of like a glimpse. Episode 6 you got to see him in the flesh and not as a hologram. Think of it like Voldermort, we saw a glimpse of him in the first movi, and didn't see him fully till Goblet of Fire.

Chill out dude. Personally, if I recommended the prequel trilogy to someone I'd still recommend the originals first because that's the order they were made, and watching the prequels first ruins the "I am your father" twist. There's no need to make assumptions and then be rude about it man.
