Just the phrase "pain is beauty" indicates to me that the feeling of pain is beauty, meaning that when you feel pain you feel beautiful? Beauty is pain is more like the traditional meaning of it, like for example you feel beautiful when you wear an uncomfortable (idk how to write that word lol) dress or when you wax your legs to look beautiful so in order to be that way u need to go through some pain. These are just example btw so i hope no one gets offented! :)

so sorry to hear about the motion sickness :( if it makes you feel any better, when I went to kyoto last september I got my period the morning we visited fushimi-inari and felt so nauseous from all the heat, walking, and noise that I had to sit down somewhere and eventually I just threw up all over myself. it was really horrible especially since tons of people passed by me but a lot of them gave me napkins and no one really bothered me so I was thankful for that :') I also got to see my boyfriend later that day so it ended on a very happy note!!! anyways just wanted to say you aren't alone, these kinds of things unfortunately happen sometimes 😅

I live in the NYC metro area and the only time I hitchhiked was when my school bus dropped me off and it was POURING. I was only walking for 30 seconds before a car picked me up and I was drenched, and I was carrying my art portfolio, which thank goodness was waterproof, but some water might’ve gotten in by the end of my 10 minute walk to my house. Two old ladies picked me up so I wasn’t scared at all, but I was always told to distrust strangers so it was a weird experience. Hopefully never again.

Girl I experienced my first motion sickness on a plane recently. I feel so bad for you it’s absolutely Horrible 😔😔 you feel on the verge of throwing up constantly. Motion sickness really sucks, I remember when I first rode a plane, and it was delayed so I believe it went on a route that is "bumpy" just to catch up with the sched or something (idek anymore lmao), so I was so motion sick that I need dad's help in feeding me lunch. Ugh, wish me luck on my next plane ride lol
