I've just begun "To the Lighthouse" and am enjoying it. I purchased the Vintage Woolf series, which are gorgeous editions! Hello Carolyn! Loved your video so much and congratulations on your project with Tipsy Tolstoy! I have a suggestion on a new author's portrait. What do you think of the idea of doing one of Alexandre Dumas. I just finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo and I am mesmerized by the book, so much that it made me cry and it has quickly risen to one of my favorite books. If you could do the manuscript background from Monte Cristo that would be amazing. Also, seriously, you need to read the book soon. I have a feeling it will make you cry. it's interesting you mention Salinger as I got a copy of F&Z yesterday and started reading it! I hope your experience with his other stuff is much better than Catcher in the Rye. also the new author portraits look great! for Vonnegut I really think you'd enjoy Breakfast of Champions. it's my favourite of his, and has a bunch of illustrations by the man himself in it, so knowing your love of illustrations I think you'd get something out of it.
