So, I used the plant app from suggestions, and it came back as a "Gum Bully", A species of sideroxylon, from pictures online of the flowers, I think that this is correct. I am safe from the fairies!

I'm from Tyneside but live in Western Canada, and we planted a Toba hawthorn in our garden some years ago. Because we're zone 3 many things that are hardy over there can't survive here in northern Alberta, but this Toba variety of hawthorn can be grown. It has tiny little bright pink flowers in spring and leaves that are small and with lots of points, a bit like tiny maples, not at all like the leaves I saw as you were clearing up your prunings. I'm glad you were able to identify your tree and you're safe from the fairies. My hawthorn didn't survive this past winter so now it has to be felled, and I'm sad to lose it. Trees are precious, not just for the air we breathe but for the beauty they give us. I hope the fairies aren't ticked off at us. 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧚🥺

About public speaking, RTE acknowledged that you are a star. How great is that! So many subscribers, proven content and delivery. The more interviews you do the more natural it will feel. Bob Hope's maxim for performances was to "always show that you are happy to be there". That comes naturally to you. You already know your topics because you live them. I've given power point talks to large groups. I always add something I haven't shared previously., extra photos or a story. A cousin lives on a farm in Galway. Years ago, her husband wanted to clear a field they weren't using but she hesitated because of the presence of Hawthorn. I've been blessed with many cats who have lived to a great age. They need moisture. Easily dehydrated. Every cat I've had loves Gerber's Baby Beef (whipped beef) when they are poorly. Not a regular diet for long but nice as a treat, too. Recommended by a vet. I purchased a small cat fountain on Amazon (only $25.). The cat took right to it. They love running water. Thanks for your positive, relatable videos.

I was taught many years ago in school that when you are speaking in front of an audience, you look at them and picture them naked. Yes my teacher said that! It makes you relax, smile and your fear goes away because you have the upper hand because you have clothes on! Not sure how that would help on radio unless you picture naked people listening to the radio! LOL! But one thing that impressed me about her idea was that when you smile you can tell that in your speaking voice. Even on radio. You can hear the happiness with no fear. So SMILE when you are doing this and it will come across as happy and confident! P.S. You did a beautiful job on your tree! Take some small twigs, glue them on the outside of a picture frame and it makes the most gorgeous picture frame. You can do anything! You are so amazing!

You are an amazing woman! I actually showed my husband your tree trimming tool. One tip I can give you from him is, he puts an old sheet down to lay the trimmings on. That way he can gather is up easier. I have serious health issues and have stayed home since last March. I'm more nervous now that people in the US aren't wearing masks and everything is opening up. I would hate to have made it this far then get sick. We are being MORE careful than ever!

I have small hands too and hated gardening gloves because they never fit. I stumbled upon children's gloves and OMG, what a difference! Try a large kids and see, it's amazing to have gloves that fit and are the same as adults. Love your new tree trimmer!

Never boring Catherine!!! And really helps us all get through these strange times, thanks so much.... I had vertigo when I was stressed working 2 jobs at a time.. Didn't like the SIRT tablets at all but hope they helped....... I think recent times cause a chronic stress rather than high intensity stress.... its just so wearing.... so really, you are doing great. I find stopping smelling lavendar and rosemary help me be in the moment.... and dancing in the kitchen like a nut.... Tony Robbins says "emotion follows motion" .. so if ya move like a happy person ya can make yourself feel better apparently.... works for me often.... take care. Hi Catherine, love your channel, I never miss a video. You touched a nerve when you spoke about fear of public speaking, I've suffered the same for years. I recommend you look at Mel Robbins videos, she explains that the physical feeling of fear is exactly the same as the physical feeling of excitement. So, instead of thinking that your fearful you can think ' I'm really excited to be doing this radio chat'. It's worked for me !

Here are some completely random thoughts: Look upon your "pre-show anxiety" as a positive ... the adrenaline it creates can truly be a plus. Re: the tree ... take a small branch or some leaves to your local nursery and have them ID it. I've been doing Yoga with Adriene for the past 2 years ... she is the best! Poor Pepsi - when my cat became "elderly" she became a very picky eater ... I spent lots of time standing in the pet store reading cat food labels. Thumbs up on the acupuncture ... my best advice is to make sure you are staying hydrated ... it makes ALL the difference! Have a good week!

What a wonderful surprise to get a 2nd video this week! Yeah! The Tea Cup in the 1st part of the video is so pretty, tiny little flowers. The tree - I like the idea of it being connected to the Fairies. You could offer them some trinkets and bond with them, maybe some pretty stones, crystals, feathers, a fairy door, etc. I like the idea of ferns but what about adding some moss in that area as well, should do very well in the shaded corner and with the climate you have there, and fairies like moss, I hear, ha ha....

Hi. I have always been a shy person but I now wear the ‘mask’ of an extrovert. Someone once told me to imagine that I was ‘someone that I admire’ who is good at social occasions or a good speaker, and ‘play the part’. I’ve found this so helpful that people never guess that I’m a quivering mess inside! It’s good to be a little nervous and it wouldn’t be normal if you weren’t but ask yourself exactly how different does it feel between feeling really nervous and feeling really EXCITED ??? Stop telling yourself that your nervous it re-affirms it, change your language and it’ll change your state. Start saying ‘OMG I am so EXCITED’ and maybe even find that you look forward to feeling like that. Xx

The flowers and berries make lovely wines and jellies and medicinally stabilise blood pressure, and the pieces of wood you cut are wonderful to carve into handles or whatever you like. Love your new tool, so fun if you have a tree that needs trimming. I will have to put that on my list ;). Putting a jumper (sweatshirt for me) over a dress is not silly to do, lots of people do it, very casual and comfy to do. Can't wait to see your finished bathroom. Here in the US the resin you’re using can just be tossed into the garbage. I work in a lab where we use resin every day to grind up sections of printed circuit boards. As soon as the bottles are empty they can be tossed. If you end up with extra just pour hardener in it and let it set up, then go ahead and throw it out. Love the video and you aren’t boring by any means! Funny and courageous I’d say!

Sorry your resin didn’t work. Bummer. You’re fun to listen to and I love your style. Having a husband you can’t go all fru fru. My craft room is more girly, and now I want to go even more girly. Sad Dublin is still so closed down. Texas is pretty open, but folks are still masking up and keeping distances. I love your lobber. I have several Ryobi tools and didn’t know there was such a thing. Now I’ll be looking for one! Praying fir Pepsi. My cat did the same thing before we had to put her down. It was either thyroid or diabetes and she got so thin. There wasn’t anything the vet could do so we had to maje the hard decision. Hopefully you’ve caught hers early enough. You are never boring.

I really enjoyed the chat girleen. It's lovely being able to get out about a bit although we are still so limited. I went across the county line to Killarney for the day, a wee bit of shopping but not Penneys, the queue was crazy long. I was a bit overwhelmed in the shops to be honest. Then I went down to Muckross for a beautiful woodland walk, it is beautiful there. Your tree is an Elder, you can make Elderflower champagne or cordial from the flowers and a syrup or wine from the berries. The smell from the flowers are divine. Be careful if you plant ferns in your garden, they can take over very quickly and they are very hard to get rid of.

Catherine don’t worry I was the same as you... I am now 54 and still get the butterfly in the tummy before meetings. 😀 I would say picture your audience naked but it’s radio 😂 listen you are amazing . Every one no matter who they are will tell you the get a few nerves before performing . You are doing so well so keep that positive attitude you have. ❤️
