but he was 0-6 from 3 in game 3. could have just drived and kicked out or something. cause as max said he is 1 of the best finishers in the paint. but that is just my opinion :)

Because both teams do not wait until teammates are in the position to rebound before taking really long shots. Basic fundamental. Of course on the Warriors, everyone is outside waiting for a chance at a 3 point shot. Curry hustles for loose balls.

Cavs fan throughout the NBA season: Start of season: Endless 3-1 jokes. After Christmas game: "Doesn't matter if you have KD, we can still win. Finals is ours." After warriors win vs. Cavs: "Doesn't matter, its just a regular season game. Lebron wasn't trying." Before finals: "Get ready to be swept!" After game 1: "Just a feel out game, we'll take game 2." After game 2: "Game 3 is ours, we got homecourt advantage" After game 3: "This is unfair. You guys really need KD to win??" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Golden state fans /|\ take all that time to write that. Cavs fans. Congrats you beat a cavs team with 3 of 4 best players out. Matt deli was 2nd best player to LBJ. The next year blow a 3-1 lead. The next year pick up 2 or 3rd best player in the NBA. And up 3-0. What is there to say? Cavs pick up a few good role players maybe even PG13 and come back and kick that ass next year. And the year after. Thing is cavs would be playing the spurs if your dirty ass players didn't break ppl ankles when they go up for a shoot

Guido I completely agree, Draymond was on 5 for the entire 4th quarter, I figured Bron would just keep attacking to get him out lol. Like the refs were giving the Cavs calls. I don't know what he was thinking. They would have won if he kept driving and finished at the hoop himself and he would have fouled Draymond out which would have cemented the victory. Now we get the lesweep

Here's what I don't understand, how come no one is talking about the fact that Kevin Love had a bad game and even got injured in Game 3? In the first and second quarter he was the best player at protecting the rim, he got so many rebounds. Now about the bad part of his game, if everyone remembers that Kevin Love's 3 pointers were crucial to the Cavs beating the Celtics. He was raining shots in those games. And I think that him doing that takes the pressure away from Kyrie and Lebron. So if Kevin Love is firing on all cylinders in Game 3 with Kyrie and Lebron on fire like they were...doesn't the game end different?

Chauncey is like: "they didn't make their shots in the last three minutes and that's what disappointed me" - that's definitely not something that would have happened if he was there. That's how the Pistons won game after game and how they got to the finals twice in a row - clutch shots. Close games throughout the playoffs and in the finals that they won the majority of.

The Cavs' organization were feeling themselves too much in a sense that ever since they came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat GSW last year, they didn't make serious roster changes. Instead they kept the same scrubs to surround LBJ and signed has-beens in the middle of this season. Real champions don't keep the same certain players on their roster. Dan Gilbert and David Griffin are bums...

Cough cough let be fair here, please go back and remember that it was none other than Lebron James that campaign to get the cavs to sign tristan thompson and jr smith to an extension. Dude, what do you want the cavs front office to do , they already owe 54 million in luxury taxes and they have gave lebron what he want since his return. Lebron wanted Kevin Love, The cavs traded away a potential all star in the the form of andrew wiggins and a flop in anthony bennett to get love. Lebron wanted Jr smith and tristan thompson contract to be extended, he got it, and don;t forget this season when lebron was complaining that he need more help.He got more help when the front office went out and sign derrick williams, deron williams, andrew bogut , freaking larry sanders, and they even make a trade to get kyle korver. I am not a fan of dan gilbert but enough is enough, if lebron wanted a more competitive team for once why not he just take a paycut like tim duncan in order to make it happen.

KD made the big shot but Steph man, them rebounds were huge. And I know not many people saw it but that spinning close out he did on Korver was big, that took away that little opening a shooter needs and Korver didn't miss by much on that shot.

Cavs ran out of gas. Warriors are deeper and can rest longer and sacrifice less. Lebron played 46 minutes and was +7 and they lost by 5. Any criticism of him is unwarranted. KD and Curry played 41 and 39 minutes. Lebron and Kyrie played 46 and 44 minutes. That was the difference down the stretch: fresher legs. But also the Cavs just have no depth relative to the Warriors. They were -12 in the two minutes Lebron rested!

This is what happens when you have an attitude that you can take games off in the regular season and you never face real competition with a super team, you don't know how to fight and win. MJ demanded the Bulls play every practice game like it was an NBA game so when they played real games, especially in the playoffs, it was second nature. And incidentally, beside his second season when he missed 65 games with a broken foot, MJ missed a total of 7 games during his entire Bulls career - rest, injury or otherwise.

I'm six years late, but I agree wichu young man. The only answer Cleveland had was to play harder, hence the blowout in game 4. They tried it again in game 5, but fatigue caught up to kyrie and Bron. And with no real plays, to get everyone else involved, they met their demise

With 2.30 mins remaining, up by 6, LBJ gets the ball 4 times, and Kyrie gets the ball twice. LBJ passes the ball twice, misses a contested fadeaway, then turns it over on the last Cavs possession. Kyrie, shoots twice and misses, one shot he got the offensive rebound. Lebron, the Captain of the team, is to blame for this epic choke!

I'm a Steph Fan and i would say, do not blame Lebron and Kyrie. they both had a fantastic game..amazing players..Lebron always does what he does best, facilitating, making his teammates better.. he just made Kyrie better in Game 3..he let Kyrie do his thing. LBJ is so unselfish and a willing passer. They just got outplayed in the dying seconds of the game. Excellent game for the Cavs, a little better for the warriors. I won't take away anything from both the Cavs and the Warriors. it was a great game! I don't agree with Max. That is Kyrie's game. He makes those shots like eating his breakfast. Remember last year? He did that to my man Steph.

@connorsmith6517 7 жыл бұрын
Da Goat the only thing similar in the shot he tried last night and the one in game 7 was that they were both 3pt shots. The length of the shot was different, the circumstances, the defender, the amount of time played by kyrie. Very different circumstances.
@dagoat6889
@dagoat6889 7 жыл бұрын
Not only were they both 3 point shots but they both were damn near in the same exact spot on the wing. Circumstances were different, but not that much. Listen i think it was an ill-advised shot by kyrie, mainly b/c they should've went for a quick 2 for 1 situation and his momentum in the game was driving to the rim. So one-on-one with klay, he should've took him to the rim or at the very least pull up for a mid range shot. But was it a stupid shot? No not at all. He's proven multiple times that he can get it done when it matters, so I'm not mad at the shot. At least he had to courage to attempt it, unlike "the greatest player in the world"

Lebron needs to develop a post move to diversify his offensive game in th 4th quarter. Especially In certain situations you need high percentage money plays, that cost less energy, that slows down the game and as a result helps you to get back on defense. Getting fouled on a drive that might miss and hoping to hitting 3s late isn't a certainty in your star players hands isn't good. Especially if you aren't a clutch freethrow shooter

If KD had joined the CAVS instead of the GSW we would today be talking about the 4th ring on LEBRON's hand simply because the GSW wouldn't have any chance against LEBRON and KD together. Same way the CAVS have no chance against the 2016GSW + KD.

The Cavs was settling for to many 3's they should've did a pick and roll on Steph that would've forced him to guard LeBron or Kyrie and take it to the basket on him, easy points.

Arjun/AJ We really can't fault Kyrie for that, if that 3 goes down he looks like a hero like last year. Think about it... That 3 pointer he took wasn't much better last year but it went down and he is a champion because of it. Can't second guess him taking that shot now, even though the TV Talking heads have something to say about it as well.

Lebron should manage his minutes better.....his best halfs of the games of these finals have been the first halfs. he needs to spread his energy across all 4 quarters...infact...better to start slow and finish on a high. Lebron simply did not close well....he was not clutch and that is the thing about him....you know he will play well during the first 42 min and give you a triple double but you always have a chance against lebron when its close in the last 5 mins cos he becomes just another good player in those last 5 mins....kobe, jordan, bird, all excelled consistenty in those moments or atleast did not shy away from those last 5 mins....and i dont want to hear about 2013 against spurs cos that was just 1 occasion., were talking about consistency

To be fair, he played 46 minutes, and everytime he left, they couldnt keep a lead. So it could be reasonable to say a 32 year old lebron cant be playing that kind of minutes, and expect him to contribute down the streach. They were all exausted though, they had to work hard to score a point.

imo lbj had to big of ego to Co exist with David blatt. when it comes to x's o's blatt can coach its just lbj didn't allow the man to do his job. at the start of that season kerr wanted blatt As the assistant coach he turned him and ironically faced each other in the finals. instead of lbj getting on board with blatt the Cavs purposely Phoning in games late in the season. I mean they had a game against Portland that was so pathetic which looked like the Cavs were purposely losing as fuck you too blatt and coaches. so 2015 wasn't a fair finals bc love and Irving both out. 2016 also not a fair finals with a hobbled curry, a suspended green, and a I injured bogut. so lue looks like genius for coming beak 3-1. I'm sure blatt intentions when getting hired was to Implement a similar system that the warriors run and Mr team lbj wasn't having it. you know why bc it takes allot of fucking work and studying. The warriors players have no egos that consume the team and make it about the team not Themselves. they Execute so well and that comes from team work not hero ball. The Cavs players a majority of the time are just standing there nobody moving, nobody crashing the boards you got love doing all the work then you got curry smallest guy on the court at times getting 13 boards in game 3 and 10 for game 2. lbj calls the shots and its pathetic how lbj handcuffs that organization and will most likely leave next year, as a life time warrior fan it was good player after good player traded, stupid fucking Signings so I know dumb fucking ownership when i see it. when the new owners traded Ellis warriors fans booed them out the building. The new warriors owners should be applauded for what they have done with this team not allowing one player to dictate how the team is run. they try so hard to Villainize curry and try so hard with lbj the make him this super star. curry was on the warriors thru some dark days and hung in there working hard year after year. type of player to take huge pay cuts bc curry had good values instilled in him by his parents. while lbj was raised by media and the Masses since a kid. all these expectations of what he was going to be. The nba ruined lbj turned him into this egotistical douche bag.

Q Coleman how is it lebron fault and he carried a shitty ass cavs team. Kyrie and love is good but they cannot carry the team to the finals not even the conference finals like LeBron can. when love was on the timbs he was the best but never went to the playoffs. Kyrie also haven't made it to the playoffs. but right when LeBron come playoffs and finals appearance like that's Goat but one thing LeBron can't do is get the job done when he needed it most so technically it's just the team fault and warriors is a superpower team

no curse with Thompson. that's one you just have to give props to GS. They finally came up with a game plan to neutralize him. It's a group effort of rebounding. when there is a rebound on the floor, most times there appear to be two or three warriors surrounding and going up within and then an outlet they are just trying to tip it to.

People talk about lack of execution with zero points and bad shotson the cavs side. Lets no forget that they didn't score cause of the Warriors defense. If you look at the film, all shots were highly contested by the warriors which makes it harder to score and forces you to shoot bad shots.
