Theoretical question: Would it be possible to replace that 60w LED chip with say a 100w LED chip? Or would that require a power supply / controller board upgrade too? Wouldn't want to blow it out. These chips seem to have a common design across wattages.

The cooling system is not built to handle a 100w LED and it would burn out very quickly, along with many other things that you already mentioned.

Hey Darrell. I don’t remember exactly it was a long time ago. But I searched Google for q-spot 260 led replacement bulb and found some and tried some and they worked great!

doing a quick google search for the name on the new part SSD-90 gives you some good results
