Dude is legit pushing 60 and is still deadly enough to clap 90% of the cast Fun Fact: Bradley's wife slapped him when they first met because he insulted her without even thinking about it. He was so impressed by how few f@cks she gave that he fell in love with her *on the spot*

The thing I love about Bradley is that 90% of his power comes from pure skill and tenacity. Sure, his eye allows him to spot weak points and rapidly attack them, but it requires expert training to utilize its full potential. Speaking of which, the King Bradley we see here is NOT in his prime - in fact, the author herself stated that half of the cast of the show would be dead before the midpoint of the series if they fought a younger King Bradley

I'm pretty sure if Bradley healed like other homunculi there would be no victory. He's the only one that needed the nerf of no healing because iquteyu took the combined effort of multiple people and a fuck ton of bodies to even make him wounded enough that Scar had a sliver of chance without getting fucking annihilated instantly.

⁠​⁠@@chaotixthefox ‘Cept, I’m pretty sure that ALL the surviving ‘Potential Fuhrer Candidates’ we see at the end are just as “superhuman”, so that’s not exactly a Homunculus thing, just a result of their training camp. They just weren’t able to take advantage of that well enough to dominate in the same way without the visual acuity that the Eye provided. Sure, he was more ruthless, and quicker to take advantage of any sign of weakness, and was also more ready and willing to act on initiative instead of just blindly following orders like the others (why Gold-Tooth thought him ‘the best’), but if anything, I’d say it was mainly just his durability that Wrath had over the others. Even then, I can’t say for sure that isn’t a result of being able to dodge _just_ enough to make potentially serious wounds less severe for him that the others could, at least, for a time (and, you know, not being a designated meat shield literally meant to put their bodies in harm’s way to protect the Doctor)

Bradley was one of the BIGGEST MENACES IN THE SHOW. The characters could have any other homunculus but then when he rocks up you best get to stepping cos he's out for blood.

Here's what I don't understand. How come everything time Greed fought Wrath, he only covered his arms in his shields? He has the ability to cover his entire body, but chooses to leave his head and body exposed. Why?

@@radioraheem9820 time, after the first time he meant bradley he never has the time to cover his entire body becausr he gets cut too fast Then when he merges with ling he doesnt have full control of the body so he can only use a little of the stones power to cover his limbs

@sdbzfan1 but we see in their first and last fight that there are breaks when Greed could have definitely have applied his full armor. In the second fight he was still able to cover his neck before he got cut but just stopped there. What's even more confusing is that in the last fight, right after Wrath is supposedly beaten, he chooses to use his full armor against the regular soldiers when it would have been more useful earlier

@@radioraheem9820 Pragmatically (meaning, I don’t personally know but will guess based on the examples provided) that part of Wrath’s BS is a level of power nullification, based on that marked eye. However, Greed is also a homunculus, so while not _fully_ nullified, it was probably difficult to use that shielding. Perhaps.

So the original fullmetal alchemist was made before the manga finished, so they just made an original plot, when the manga had finished, they made brotherhood, which follows the manga.

Correction! Brotherhood is actually longer. It's more alligned with the plot of the manga and far better fleshed out with the scale to match. The original FMA had some amazing moments but was far smaller scale than the plot of Brotherhood and had some... odd... narrative choices such as Sloth being Ed and Al's mom... I think? It's been a while but I remember that the homunculus were the bi-product of equivelant exchange being performed. And Lust was like... Mustang's ex-girlfriend or something? Either way, Brotherhood is an incredible show and deserves to be watched by literally everyone.

Damn, you only saw the original? It's still great, but it was airing before the manga was finished, so it's got its own unique ending, kinda like Soul Eater, which went through the same thing. I can't remember the point it changes at, but they switched Wrath and Pride among other things. Brotherhood follows the manga all the way to the end, and I think is easily the superior series
