This song hits hard for me, because when I was 14, my mom sent me away, it was for my own good, too get me out of a bad situation, I was angry with her, and I would write really mean letters to her. I didn't see my mom again, until I was 29, and she did not know who I was, she asked my baby brother who I was, I was heart broken, I finally told her I was sorry for what I had said to her, she forgave me, but the saddest part is, I only got to spend 7 yrs of my adult life with my mom, she passed away 21 yrs ago, at the age of 53, due to brain surgery for an aneurysm. I Love and miss her so much every day.
