For the bonus recipe, I would call it an alkaline accra or just accra. In my home country, an accra is a kind of a batter with seasonings( peppers chives, etc), saltfish, flour and water. It kinda looks the same but without the saltfish.

Accra is not shape like that, this is more like fritters. Yummy!! He didn’t peel the choyote, I know the skin is though.

The reason the chayote seeds is just a single small seed is because it has an odd way of germinating. It won’t grow as a seed like most squash/vine veggies. It will only grow if the whole chayote is buried. Which might also explain why they have an irritant on the skin. Weird, delicious little squash.

It would be well deserved. You can also bake the patties. Just add some oil and bake. 380°F for 15 to 20 mins per side. Enjoy

Try it he recipe and it was awesome. I’ve experimented with utilizing Quinoa as a binder. It adds body to the Pattie’s. Tried it with Chickpea burgers. Next time I will try with the Chayote Pattie’s. Great recipe

Yeah, they're really good. The sauce is a traditional (South American) way of cooking the original (non-alkaline) recipe. Yeah, you're right. It tastes good with or without the sauce.

Hey Philip, thank you! Garbanzo flour will give you my intended taste/flavor and it's delicious. Spelt flour will give you a totally different color and taste as was demonstrated at the end of the video. The difference is like day and night.

Hey, the tomatoes actually are essential, but you can make a red pepper sauce if you wish. It should taste good.

Fresh Fennel is usually substituted with celery or cabbage, but they’re not alkaline. You can skip the fennel if you can'tfind it. Also, check your local Farmer's market or Asian store. They usually sell it. Thank you for subscribing and for sharing my channel with your Family 🙏🏿

Mushrooms are the best medicinal fungi you can consume. Stop listening to what people say and do your own research. There are thousands of mushrooms species. Most cute and heal illnesses. Many different flavors and nutrient compounds. Whatever chef told you that shouldn't be cooking!!!
