Arthur Nascarelli is the REAL article. I was laughing along with Dante at his animated expression, the way he tells a story. No fluff, pure truth. Chazz, how were you able to stop laughing at Arthur's stories after the heart attack story?

I gotta say what an absolutely amazing thing you're doing here is Chazz. People like you and Arthur and all the Old School guys really shaped a whole generation, in culture and entertainment. I'm reminded a lot of the neighborhoods my parents and family grew up in when listening to these podcasts. Though most of the neighborhoods are gone now, the Neighborhood Logic has hopefully passed on to my generation

It's crazy that Chazz Palminteri does not get more likes? People would rather listen to mafia videos about murder and all kinds of shit that have nothing to do with life. I have to say I look up to Chazz Palminteri's father! 30 years in the same job. A real hero !! Come on guys, more LIKES! I must say I lost my chivalry to the woman in early 50s. Not much lady and dignity in today's women. Glad I'm not young today.

I notice Chazz’s interview style and wanted to know if other people notice how during a conversation with a guest, especially his friends in old school, he will repeat back or echo the words of the guests on the show. I have to believe that is a learned style of speaking but didn’t know how he learned to do that. For example, on old school, his friend will tell a joke and chanza will repeat the punch line that the friend just said. I had heard that in sales, their is a concept called mirroring and it is where a salesperson repeats back the words of the person being pitched but I think what Chazz is doing is an old school way of interviewing like what you would see from people like Johnny Carson or Jack Benny etc. Just curious if I am the only one that notices how Chazz repeats back to the audience what the guest just said. Not critical at all. Just wanted to understand more about that style he is using. I am sure it helps with memorizing and remembering details.
@sandralybrand94072 жыл бұрын
They also use mirroring in couple counciling. They do it(in counciling) because men hear what women say differently and vice versa. That causes alot of conflict because of the communication differences.
