I've actually bought the Easy Stringer to string my own rackets to save money long-term. I've learned doing knots from KZbin. I've strung 7 rackets. It takes me less than an hour now and my weaving is not the fastest. The Easy Stringer works great for me. The only problem I had the first time was that the string kept slipping out of the gripper and this lead to the trigger to jam and could see the gauge lose all the tension. I came in contact with them through Instagram. So, keep in mind that with some slick round profile strings you may have to go around and through the gripper twice and everything will be solved. They should have it written in the manual. Other than that, I'm super satisfied with the Easy Stringer.

The Easy Stringer- A Japanese you tuber featured this product a few years ago - swears buy it for stringing Poly- says it keeps elasticity preserved by not over stretching . Cool stringer.

I recommend that stringing machine, I use it! Carry in medium backpack, stringing at customers place, never been arrested (yet). You did great job on this video, with more rackets it goes only easier and faster. Good way to skip forearm and wrist workout on gym, instead of that use this stringer once a day 😁

I'm a professional tennis player,I bought it for my tour in Asia.I have it for 4 months now,had no problem travelling with it in saveral countries in Asia.Stringing experience is good but you need to practice with it to find the correct tension that you like.the only thing I don't like is that my hand gets tired pulling the trigger if I string more than one racket at the time.Worth the money for sure you save a lot in stringing fees

Probably at 49 because you didn't use a starter clamp for the center mains and pulled four. I usually don't use a starter clamp either, so I string a pound heavier than the tension I want for the first four, and then reference for the rest.

It's convenient for traveling, but I still would prefer even a drop weight over this. I wouldn't want to tension my strings off the frame, especially with only a two point mount. It looks like it works though, but I imagine it would crack an older frame with a little more abuse.

i have the cheapest machine from gamma for that. it's so light and easy to disassemble, so i bring it on the road with me for tournaments easily

Harry, just a general question in terms of starting mains with flying clamps - is your method the correct way to get the full reference tension on the two center main strings? Would be good to know a proper way to do with (with or without) a starting clamp. Thank you!

Harry was very incorrect in starting the mains. If you pull 50# on two strings at once, you are actually pulling only 25# on each string. His placement of his ERT 300 to check the DT was not in the sweet-spot. Therefore the DT reading was not correctly done. I would bet that the actual DT was around 29 to 30.

@@bradcranford157 close. Not exactly half the tension, but definitely under 50. Maybe 49, 48. The first curve acts like a simple pulley, so if you're pulling reference, the other end should be experiencing the same tension. But you would lose some tension because it's not an actual pulley, and there's some friction where the string meets the frame. This is alleviated by using a starter clamp, but as you can see, it's still pretty close. Close enough for beginner and recreational stringers.

You will only pull full tension on the string you are pulling, the other string will be much lower in tension due to friction going through the grommet and making a 180 degree turn.

I was gifted a 12 year old stringway 3 years ago and it’s Fantastic. Great customer service (needed to replace a part). Solid build, excellent clamps, easy to use, durable. Don’t know what I would get if I had to buy a stringer today but I know stringway would be on the short list.

Those are Stringway clamps. A little pricey, but well worth it. $50-60 each.

The jolting release of the string after setting tension is worrisome. The stringer certainly does not take up much space. If you get it cheap enough, it is ok. It is ok for a occasional string job.

You have to hold the trigger down a bit for friction when you release tension. That prevents the jolt.

easier release of string comes with experience, someone wrote comment that at third time you use it it goes faster and more careful and that's true - I use that gun half year already and it's really handy and useful

This is the most portable/lightest stringer there is at the moment. A drop weight is much heavier due to the need for a weight & a base.

I've bought it and I'm happy - super mobile stuff but as you say lot of work - to string my 26kg tension racket my hands do 910kg work. (16x19 string pattern). I got use to it.

Eew. Two point stringing machine is not good. You can get other ones now and they are six point and just as light. I just had a look at the Mi Stringer and it looks better. On a positive side, it’s good for a workout for your hand and wrist.
