Those tyres look just like the old Schwalbe City Jet’s. Doesn’t look like they sell them anymore so I’m guessing Kenda picked up the mould! I tried them a few years back now. Decent fast rolling pace. Only downside is I thought they tramlined a bit because of the profile. The old Claud cleaned up well though. Can’t have seen much use before. It’ll serve you well that.

Yea, I thought the same and always ran the 26x1.5 City jets. Trust me, I will stay away from the tramlines 🤣 yea got lucky with the bike. Think it must have gotten in a bit of disrepair and sag in a garden for a while. I will use it over this summer to commute, then may change it slightly, maybe a front rack and so on so j can get loads of cargo on it. Thanks for the feedback, mate 👍

I am ready to trash tne Resto mod I am trying to do what can go wrong is going wrong but it's my first go at doing one.

I think my issue is setting up the drive train I am running an 11 to 42 tooth 9 speed cassette but hey it's all about learning something new.

@Willdlans 11-42 cassette 😲 make sure you have a long cage rear derailleur that can handle the ratio, mate. Pick the size of the chain ring that will suit the chain line and the frame, then make sure the chain is long enough 👌
