Very informative video for pure vegetarian North Indian tourists. I had tried food at Delhi Di Rasoi and Krishna Dhaba and found quality of food was very good at both places with the only difference that Krishna Dhaba was much crowded whereas sitting space was comfortably available at Delhi Di Rasoi. May I request you to post information about good hotels also for benefit of tourists as there are many good hotels in the vicinity of Delhi Di Rasoi which are suitability priced and persons staying there have an option to have Dinner just a few steps away from their place of stay !

Book any hotel near boulevard or Dalgate and try to eat on these restaurants or dhabas as they are just near your hotels. Most of the local population in Kashmir is non vegetarian so I would suggest you to eat outside only however all restaurants do offer vegetarian as well as non veg food options.

It would be very hard to find one but you can share your food preferences with any vegetarian restaurant. The other option is to eat from any four star or five star hotel (in house restaurants).

You should try to book a reliable houseboat instead of a cheap one. Please read some real reviews before booking any hotel and houseboat. A few days back one of the houseboat sank in Dal Lake and the tourists who were inside almost lost their life but we're thankfully rescued. Please check from TripAdvisor and than only book.
