CHEAP Chinese Carbon Bike Frame - In-depth Review // Rinasclta Granite All Road

I've been more skeptical of this brand than most, so I look forward to hearing about the build and your impressions of the frame. It appears to be a rebranded and marked up Airwolf YFR066, which aren't known for their quality. Also, the Rinasclta team page is dubious.

All the weights for frame are given in unpainted state… And usually in size S… So I think the weight irregularities would be the same for other frames and brands…

The frame weight is bang on 1100g, that'd pretty rounded and I weigh a lot of frames and I have had a rounded off frame as yet tbh.

The frame has a nice paintjob, but it looks pretty crappy underneath. There seem to be lots of wrinkles on the inside, which make the frame weaker. Also the dimensions on bb hole look absolutely outrageous, but you can't get a meaningful measurement on it with a caliper. Tolerance on it is between 40.95 and 41.00mm, everything else is bad. You don't even have enough resolution to measure that. It can be measured properly with a micrometer, but I'm not saying you should get one, because it's a specialized tool that a normal dude shouldn't need.

Love the way this channel has gone recently, keep up the good work! However, and I hate to be THAT guy, but your maths is off unfortunately. The actual weight of the frameset will be 2,139g (472 + 187 + 380 + 1,100), which is 144g heavier than claimed. Considering the smaller bars you've got, that's pushing 10% in real terms... not a disaster but a reasonable difference. This one could be off to an ominous start...!

So it is... thank you for flagging it. Rinasclta actually messaged and said the weight on their website was for an unpainted frame. They said they are going to update that info to make it clear 👍🏽

I would be concerned to ride with such a poorly manufactured fork. And the tolerances of the BB area are awful. Clearly not a machined finish. Considering these issues a price of +900$ is way too high imo.

8:30 it doesn't look like "polish detail". It looks like someone damaged the carbon and used the glue as a filler. And in conjunction with the inside look, I would have got it checked.

Agreed. Even by chinese carbon standards it isn't good. Those holes near the cable port are voids. My flyxii frame cost half as much as looks better.
