Cheap Chinese double Din Head unit. 7010B Unboxing, and in depth review.

Should you go and buy a cheap chinese double din head unit. I unbox this poxxy cheap thing and put it thru it's paces. Full review. I know the video is long, but has some important tips if you do buy one.

I've had one of these which I used for about 2 years. You were upset about it being 'only' 41w per channel but I can attest that it played really clean all the way up to the maximum volume on 6x9 speakers with zero distortion and admirable clarity. I think these stereos are worth every penny. 😎👍🏼 Just hoped it had better sort functions on the mp3 and a more sensitive touch interface. Otherwise, you couldn't ask for more at the price.

I just bought one of these yesterday as a cheap and cheerful unit for a reverse camera and to mirror the gps off my phone. It seams ok to use just a little clunky and slow but will hopefully do what i want 😂

@abidkazi9351 mines model 7023b if you type into Google the model of your stereo and wiring diagram it will bring it up. The manual is very poorly written. There is phono sockets on the back for a amp but the speaker cables need to be plugged in to get sound. If you played music from a USB stick, you might have discovered that the MP3 player cuts out the first half-second of audio. At least that's how it is on my head-unit, and I just bought this in October 2020.

Hi Ray, I think your unit is faulty. Mine works flawlessly with mp3's from a flash drive or Bluetooth on my phone. 👍🏼

The remote wire connects to the cars wire and then follow instructions on programing it!

Hi, hope you've resolved the mirror issue you were experiencing. Just thought I'd give you my experience regarding that. I used an Android device to mirror and it only worked once I had installed the 'Hi-Link' app on my device. Maybe the iPhone requires something similar? 😎👍🏼

I had this unit installed today in my Chrysler 300. I love the unit, it really looks great and the Bluetooth is awesome. I do have an issue with the unit though. It won’t power off . I removed my key from the ignition however the display stays on with a running clock. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.

Check your cars harness mine didn't have ground in the actual harness so the one from the stereo didn't connect. I ended up connecting it to the one on the antena and it powered up

You must have 12v+ connected on the yellow and red wires if you didn't connect the yellow from the ignition
