distance from resting position in 1st to resting position in 2nd is 11cm (with the gear knob removed)

I have a ae92 shifter and shifter box in my car, and it feels like a SUPER LONG throw…and that I can’t feel where nuetral is most times..is that just the normal shifter feel for the ae92?

It doesn't sound normal. Neutral should be pretty obvious! Maybe time for some new bushings?

Hi there, I have been looking to do this mod on my AE92 Corolla Gti. So can you just confirm the model that the short shift came from you you know it was AE101 or AE110 and how much shorter is the throw, you don't mention this in the build. As the car is now seemingly finished , what is the impression of the short shift

its better, i wasn't familiar enough with the old shifter to comment on the difference nor did i do any "before" measurements. Shifter came from a AE110
