I just watched "first awkward video" and dude... you look and sound normal. Not awkward at all. Tutorial like any other. I think you are just too much self aware. Btw. i'll be building this version of teleprompter. ty for awesome idea!

Thank you for the review, Sol I experienced a huge benefit from using a teleprompter, and helped me a ton to level up my video quality, especially talking heads. I present my videos using the PPT-Mirror tool method to mirror-flip my existing slides and display them in TTL (through the lens) in teleprompter is a definitive guide to master eye contact with clients because I don't have to read word for word as I always have my whole concept in front of camera, I use bullet points structure to avoid over-scripting myself out completely so that my conversation remain on target... it is a great option that assisted me in delivering professional narration since.

Thank you! However I found the quick release plate does kinda fall off if you're not careful. You might want to try a more sturdier solution for that 🤔

Super cool and simple. Thanks so much for the tutorial! I just spent most of my day yesterday obsessing over turning my handheld flash bracket into a teleprompter. I've figured it out but it's not elegant. I'm surprised that you used an acrylic sheet. I wondered if something like that would work instead of glass but I haven't seen anyone else using anything but glass in the other diy videos. Thanks again! :)

Have it simple this way, convert and invert Powerpoint script on your device ( iPad / Smartphone ) using www.ppt-mirror.com tool and use the device in a teleprompter, ppt mirror tool does not force you to read word for word and it helps you not to memorize the script by simply using your existing slides. you can use bluetooth pedal page flip to switch the slides.

Using slides in a teleprompter leads your speech to natural because you don't read word-for-word, and you always have the whole concept in mind therefore you speak confident and maintain eye contact with the viewer. you would only have to mirror-flip the slides with PPT MIRROR tool.

A Teleprompter is a good device for recording videos in natural and professional way, I found a tool called PPT MIRROR tool that converts Powerpoint slides into teleprompter software so that it guides me while I speak and to I keep my speech to natural because I don't follow word for word and I maintain eye contact because I always have the whole concept in mind.

Great content mate, How do you get to be that natural in front of camera, Superb? I follow word-for-word script which I'm still struggling to become better on camera but soon I will switch to Powerpoint slides with bullet points as my teleprompter software to help me maintaining eye contact and speak confidently because I don't read word for word and I always have the whole concept in mind.

How do you deal with ghosting?
@socalledcreative3014 жыл бұрын
Well, there is a LITTLE bit of ghosting but that's the price you pay for cheap DIY lol. The tiny bit of ghosting isn't really a deal-breaker for me personally, but If you are hypersensitive then it might be a better option to pay for premium glass.
