I used those exact plug wires. They worked great. had one even touching the header.

I do a lot of swaps and I really like video's like yours, 15 years and I'm still picking up tips and tricks. Up here in the North East 100k mile 4.8's and 5.3's are a dime a dozen and the swap costs are much cheaper than a SBC refresh and you end up with up to twice the HP to boot. The last couple swaps I did I ran them off carbs, I did pick up a single plane manifold off Ebay cheap, the 6LS box was retail but it's electronics so there's that. The point is without the cost and work involved with converting to a high pressure fuel system that money was saved, my buddies like the carb because they are used to them and performance wise, IMHO there wasn't much difference on a stock motor. I did install a Stage 2 cam in one of the motors and it performed great. The rest of your work is good also, keep it up, it's what hot rodding is all about.

Thanks, I did carbs of course for decades, but haven't used one since a build in 2011. A buddy of mine wants to do a carbed LS, so I may do one on the channel, but using the factory PCM to control ignition so no need for an MSD box, should be dirt cheap to do. I can do a high pressure fuel system pretty cheaply as well, you will see on this build, I bet I won't have $300 in the whole thing including the tank, sending unit, pump, fittings, and lines.

Hi! Thanks for all the videos on this project! You did a video on installing your gas tank?

Hey if you can’t get your plasma working I bought a plasma cutter from Amazon. I been using it a lot over the last year and I have no complaints. It’s a Lotos LPD. definitely buy the whip cover. I had a hypertherm for years but for $350 this thing works killer. I also bought the 3 yr warranty cuz you never know.

Yep, my hypertherm 30xp died after 10 years, no power, will dig into it eventually when I have time. They are now too expensive IMO, so picked up a Primeweld CUT50DP, just hooked it up today. I have to run it a bit and see how it does, but I can go through 4 of them and still not spend what a new hypertherm costs. If I can get 5 years out of it I will be thrilled., but I still want to fix my 30XP, it was a great machine.
