No doubt and I actually owned one in that time. I got a 1996 honda civic ex coupe for $500 and it just needed some minor repairs. Now you can't touch that without paying over 2k and it's beat to hell and missing parts and usually missing a title. It will have mix matched colors and bad mods also. Was one of the best cars I owned and I honestly didn't want to take it out of stock form because it felt just right in that area.

Most of these vehicles I don't care about. The 3000gt VR4 stayed cheap for many reasons. They didn't get the spotlight like supra and R34 with fast and furious for one. It was slow and heavy. It had a better brothers in all aspects. The lancer evolution series,eclipse GST&GSX,Galante VR4. It was hard as hell to work on. It's very similar to the 300z on why they got ignored. They do look good though. I'm just going to include both BMW's here that are on the list. I don't care if you buy a BMW,Mercedes,Audi,Porsche.... anything german past the mid 90's and high mileage. All I can say is get ready to keep throwing money at it and waiting for a tow truck. These are lease vehicles at best and ownership kisses you with the strength of a cattle prod. You ain't getting a deal, you're getting the previous owner out of hell. Knew many that tried this and it took them to the soup kitchen. The jeep thing is for cultists and I'm not in that. If a jeep goes up in value, then it is no longer a jeep. It was ment to go off road and ve beaten up, but a high value one is just some lifted mall crawler. The idea is to buy the cheap ones so you can use them as intended and not feel bad if it gets totaled. A used ferrari? I don't have to explain this. If you want to buy one, then just turn it into some center peice for the house when it breaks down. Most people buy these for status symbols or to be part of the ownership club. The real ferrari company died after the 80's. Pontiac GTO.... you mean holden. Actually this is a good car. I like these. Though I would rather have the other two GM Australia cars that came here. The G8 and the newer one, the chevy SS. would I pay corvette money for it or maybe camaro money?... no. They're a sub 10k at best or less. Think these had that terrible GM interior though. Integra type R. I can't mock this. Its a good fun car. However I can smell that car from here. Smells like teenager and low quality dated weed. Personally we got some really decent civics in the last few decades and I would rather have those over some overpriced civic. I would just mod it to make it better. I can't justify the prices on these. Probably because I still see them as cheap fun cars. The Plymouth prowler took a special buyer during production to now. I would rather just get a classic hotrod and add modern tech. It would look better and the value wouldn't really matter. Why even put this in here? The R34. Yeah they're already expensive because people with money bought them up and waited for the opportunity to bring them to the US. The R32 got by because people didn't talk about those. No one would shut up about the R34 and now its the price of a super car. Congratulations on screwing that market up for yourself. Anyways its 25 years old and was treated poorly like any 25 year old. I like them, but I don't like 100k value for what it is. Better options are out there now and I just can't see any logic of dumping house money on a car. The CTS-V Wagon is the best car on the list.

What about lotus? They’re rare and not being built anymore (Elise, exige, evora) yet aren’t old enough to import. Sales flat or rising? They’re not necessarily practical but they are the ideal driving machine for enjoyment. I’m not sure what they retailed for new back in 2005
