The record for GT-Rs still has a VR38 in it Also the structure of the block would beg to differ, the Hemi is a block that was retrofitted for boost and thus cannot hold up to higher boost pressures without ALOT of convincing where as the VR38DETT was a specially engineered engine made with boost in mind and not just piggybacking off the engineering of a decade old engine based off a 20 year old engine based off a primative 50 year old engine. Dodge does nothing but retrofit their old shit to be 10% better and then call it a day, challengers and chargers use a modified Mercedes suspension and chassis from the mid 2000s for Christ sake and that platform has been around for the past 2 decades at this point.

You are insane if you think you can get intake and exhaust mods along with an ECU tune for a GT-R for $6000. A decent exhaust alone will run nearly that. Not to mention you'd be hard pressed to find a GT-R for less than $60,000 in acceptable condition.

Until you go to the drag strip and that hellcat decides he wants to spend 200 bucks for a pully then get it tuned for race gas on some slicks gaining 140 whp for dirt cheap hooking and booking while your trans blows out launching on boost still slow😅.

Yep from 2015 still. And they all forget its very easy to gain power with them and are a weapon at the drag strip heavy or not. Tune only hellcats from 15 are running 10.50s with a tire and nothing else. And half og those care guy menyioned arent modded for that cheap nor can they be bought in good condition for those prices. Honestly i think dude was trying to ruffle some tail feathers for views lol. Simple bolt on packages are hitting bottom 9s from 15 16 moddles that have the smaller blower being 2.4l. Half of the other cars have non parasitic boost that makes more power than all these cars do yet need mods. The hellcat has an iron block they have been pushed to 2500 hp factory blocks. A bmw has never even crested 2000hp. And gtrs need billet blocks or sleeves to make that power. Chevy has no answer to the push rod against dodge. They went 4 valve lol. And all the little asian cars need to be 1000lbs or more leighter to contend with mods then they all think they got sometging and talk trash bexause most people dont have a need for more power on the street as they barely hook as is 😂. If they do it fbo making 950-1050 whp not bexause the motor cant take motor the trans cant 😂. At one point you could do fbo yourself and get a tune plus all the equipment for about 4-5k depending on the parts male 950 whp. At one point you could buy a hc for 45k spend 5 and have yourself a monster for 50k out the door 950 whp 870ish wtq.
