Here in Michigan, I found an entire pallet of flowering string of hearts for $6 at my local Kroger’s. I picked up a bunch of them and made a packed full hanging basket of them. It’s so stunning. There’s nothing better than running up to the grocery store and finding an unexpected gem.

Ashley, thanks for a refreshing plant tour of a shop with great plants and reasonable prices! Gives us on a budget hope of getting some nice specimens for our collections without shame or maxing our credit cards. No worries, if people can afford it more power to them, but those of us that can’t afford it often feel left out of the plant community lately. Thanks again, for keeping it real!

Yeah, sadly the market for SOH is a littler pricey here in the states 😭😭 they don't get cheap until big box stores companies start growing them. You can imagine the price tag on a varigated version

That’s a Philodendron Xanadu for sure. The Selloum’s leaves are much wider.

Anthony Lawson Yeah. My best advise would be pot them in an airy, well draining soil. Part potting soil, part orchid bark, some perlite. Then water only when dry. I water my large Philodendron once every 14 days. They are pretty easy care.
