Love watching your content. I have 40 acres as well in your area and plan on a similar setup. It's awesome knowing that someone has gone through and made the mistakes but made it work. The rain water cistern I am absolutely fascinated by. I love the fact that rain water catchment systems are gaining popularity. Keep at it!

My dream come true I have wanted to live of the grid and self reliant for some time now and am still trying to work towards my goal . You have done an incredible job in getting your weight off and I am sure working alone on your farm would have alot to do with it because of the hard work and upkeep of your gardens also looking after the animals . Well done for the weight loss you have done an amazing job .

That is a good idea adding cardboard to the compost pile. I currently live in a medium size town and we recycle the cardboard. I will suggest it to my dad who composts and has a large city lot. He loves to garden. I can't wait to see when you eventually get to making your outdoor oven. 😊👍

Do you have any plans of expanding/improving on the geothermal greenhouse? I know you have a lot of projects going on that will probably take priority, but with better tools such as the electric jackhammer you were using in a previous video I bet you could really make quick work of the digging compared to when you first started. With a bigger area you could probably grow a ton more food year round without worrying about the winter freeze.

You've done a great job on your place. And well done on your weight loss. The only suggestion I have is to pick up some shade cloth for the animals especially for the summer heat which can kill. The animals are too exposed, and don't have places to get out of the extremes.
