Cheap Oral-B iO compatible brush heads

I paid 29 euro for a bundle of 12 original Oral B CrossAction brush heads on Amazon on 2023-02-12. Soon later, it was offered on Amazon an even larger bundle for a more affordable price per head but I didn’t purchase it because I had already purchased the other one and I didn’t want to get bundled to a 10-year stock of brush heads.

I tried the third party brushes and it broke while i was using the most calm of the choices and almost breaking my toothbrush,so that is why I didn't keep using them and buy the originals

I purchased some knock off Oral-B heads I was cutting my mouth, my tongue and my lips with the sharp plastic that the bristles are laid into. Small fine cuts Beware! 😮

Budget concerns are important but if your spending time, money and effort on prevention that it seems to make sense to get the better brush heads. There is a difference between the heads. Also be alert, I think I got some counterfeits in OB packaging.

I am curious: whenever I saw an off-brand io compatible brush heads very similar to the original “Ultimate Clean” tufts design available in Amazon, they would be removed from the shelf the other day very soon. Nowadays all third-party off-brand io compatible brush heads available in Amazon have different tufts design from the original. Is it because the “Ultimate Clean”s tuft design is patented? On the other hands, why those off-brands’ oral-b compatible non-io brush heads can copy the originals?

I believe it is to do with patents. iO heads are patented, whereas the patent for the non-iO heads has expired. Therefore other companies can copy/make replicate for non-iO models, but not iO heads.

I think it can vary depending on where the patent was filed, but usually 20 years.

the Oral-B as a number one standard of quality if they fit the parameters of the quality control if they fit the parameters of the control then they are number one if they don't then they're seconds or they're thirds either way they're all the same

I mistakenly got an offbrand and I definitely can tell the difference from the original toothbrush head and it's not nearly as good in my opinion. If you're going spend the money every three months for a new brush you might as well spend a little extra and get the best one.

In my experience it depends on the individual manufacturer of the off-brand brush. some are better than others.

Some might scam people into buying them just like the original pro series heads.

Brands could sell a 20 pack for around 3 dollars online. But customers might leave a review that the brush doesn't move once it's applied on their teeth

I find the third party heads quickly stop spinning under pressure and just vibrate.
