No matter how many great bands Cheap Trick collaborates with, Robin Zander will always be the main attraction for me

Robin teaching how to sing perfectly, this man was and still is wonderful!
@jaymiklavcic5435Ай бұрын
I love how Robin takes charge and motions to Jon sing the next verse, and then Robin grabs the mike stand seeing that Jon is unsure where to go. Robin then calls out the breaks and jumps in with his strong vocal. Robin controls the mike because he knows Jon is still unsure and gives a primal scream where Jon has a look on his face of "how did you do all that?"

Playing the same old dinosaur hits from 30 years ago
@alicevioleta31849 ай бұрын
@@georgejetson1025they're still good, though. it's not "dinosaur" hits, it's good music. besides, Ain't That a Shame is a legendary rock and roll song from the 50s.

@georgejetson Says the man who apparently has probably never been to a CT concert or know any of their 20 plus albums with another one on the way🙌, change up their set list every show,, keeping the hits in for casual fans, and this was a jam session where they played familiar favorites everyone could enjoy their Rock on, and previous to this Cheap Trick and Robin performed an amazing hour and a half show themselves with many deep cuts🙌✨🏁🖤

Cheap Trick is still my favorite band. I met them at a Delaware club in 96 with a meet and greet. I was able to get all their autographs on an old Budokan photo. I looked like a roadie with ripped jeans and a leather jacket standing next to Rick Nielsen. I still get goosebumps from when they shook hands with me.

Robin Zander's vocal abilities far outshine the rest. Back then, in the late 80s he was in top form. Who cares what he was wearing? Rock stars are eccentric sometimes. It's all good. Robin was the sexiest man alive back then. Now he's a rock legend ❤CT❤

This is what the world of music has missed for too long. Amazing artists like Bon Jovi and Cheap Trick who love music because it's music. Not just because their record label pays them to perform.

The young Bon jovi was sent to school and Professor Zander graciously showed him what a triple Doctorate in vocal and command of the stage will do for a performance.I love how Robin has to tell Jon when to come in, and then Robin takes complete command of the mic and vocal,( "I gotta cobra for a neck tie) with his strength in his vocal. Rick smiles big knowing his "Man" is making CT shine. Jon looks shocked that CT took over the song.

I stood in line in 1989 to get Jon Bon jovi's autograph at a mall in rockford IL with rick nielsen's son daxx. A chick passed out when they got to get their picture signed and he kissed her on the cheek - the paramedics were there and I was freaked the F out from all the craziness. I had no idea who Bon Jovi was at the time.
