I was in front row at Milwaukee Wisconsin at a bar when they played. I was 8 months pregnant, the crowd kept pushing forward and Robin stopped playing, and told the crowd we have a pregnant lady up front so stop pushing. He gave me a wink then continued. Loved it! Total respect. My son now is a drummer in a rock band!

STILL MY FAVORITE C.T. SONG, along with Downed,& Heaven tonight, they are all surpurbe wonderful men,all I can say is,what a wonderful "GIFT",we got with Cheap Trick

Some people just don't get the concept of LIFE at all. Back km in the good ole days of Great Bands and Awesome MUSIC people went to concerts and ACTUALLY WATCHED the band perform and LISTENED TO THE MUSIC!! We acted like humans at concert not a bunch of hyenas attacking a pack screaming incoherent banshees at the zoo. Back then parents, teachers, aunts. uncle's grandparents,, the nice newlyweds that moved in next door, ANYONE who was an ADULT or 13 and above with common sense who had what was known as FEELINGS (I know it's unheard of today to most people below the age of 40) but they really do exist and they are an actual thing, CARED about their children, and their neighbors and their children and WANTED their children to LEARN how to good, positive, helpful, caring, compassionate and respectful to OTHERS especially their ELDERS (for those who don't know that means anyone and everyone older than they are) so they ACTUALLY TAUGHT THEM MANNERS! You know saying PLEASE, THANK YOU, EXCUSE ME, YES MA'AM/SIR, NO MA'AM/SIR, MAY I BE EXCUSED, MAY I HELP YOU,, HERE LET ME HELP YOU WITH THAT, HELPING SOMEONE UP IF THEY FALL DOWN NOT KICKING THEM IN THE FACE BECAUSE THEY WERE IN YOUR WAY., YES MEANT YES, MAYBE OR I WILL THINK ABOUT IT MEANT YOU WILL GET AN ANSWER WHEN THEY ARE READY TO GIVE YOU ONE SO DON'T KEEP ASKING AND DRIVING THEM CRAZY, AND NO ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY MEANT JUST THAT...NO! DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN, DO NOT ASK ME THAT AGAIN, DO NOT TOUCH ME LIKE THAT AGAIN! AND GET THIS...IF SOMEONE SAID NO WE RESPECTED THEIR FEELINGS, PROPERTY. SPACE, AND BODY!! So women could go to a concert during pregnancy even 8 months pregnant back then and didn't have to worry about rude, pushy, angry, aggressive unruly and out of control TYRANTS who feel ENTITLED to whatever they want, do whatever they want, take whatever they want, say whatever they want, and treat others any way they want even if it's violently! Yeah back then we knew how to LIVE and what LIFE WAS ABOUT! And we KNEW that if we WANTED ANYTHING IN LIFE WE HAD TO WORK FOR IT OURSELVES AND NOT EXPECT OUR PARENTS TO GET IT FOR US AND STILL SUPPORT US ONCE WE GRADUATED OR WAS OLD ENOUGH TO GET A JOB! WE DIDN'T LAY ON MOMMY AND DADDY'S COUCH WATCHING TV ALL DAY OR MOVE INTO THEIR BASEMENT WHEN WE WERE AND SUCK THEM DRY!!! GROW UP, GET A JOB AND BE KIND TO OTHERS

These guys are so incredibly humble and so incredibly talented. All of them. And so under-rated as a band. This song, in my opinion, personifies their talent. The vocals, the drums, the guitar, all very tight and well executed. It took me many years to really appreciate their talent. They have this way of drawing you in, because their songs are so catchy, but once you are in, you really start to understand and appreciate their talent. And OMG, don't get me started on "Need Your Love"....

Yes, truly an American original. On the subject of their "look"... I always though Cheap Trick kind of "invented" that idea, but they were definitely influenced somewhat...both musically and aesthetically... by the LA band Sparks. Seriously, check 'em out. Listen to the Kimono in My House album and Whomp That Sucker. It's nuts. They influenced bands all the way from Queen to Cheap Trick to DEVO. Amazing crazy band. +darke812 I heard that Bun E. has been dealing with health-related issues leading to his semi-retirement. According to Wikipedia he's still a member of the band, he's just not touring anymore. Personally, I think that Rick's son, Daxx, is doing well playing the role of drummer, probably because I think that the Cheap Trick fans are kind of glorifying him. If someone can bring to my face why Bun E. is a brilliant drummer, I would very much like to hear your statement.

+UnknownBlackHand He just has a way, it can't really be explained, kinda like how it's hard to pinpoint the brilliance of Keith Moon. It's the whole package, the off-beats he throws out to his hi-hat work to his laid-back personality approach. Roll all those things into one and you have someone very special.

cannot disagree on Bun's talent and what he brought to the band. The issue was that the sets were getting shorter and no variation, as Bun stepped aside, Daxx brings a younger man's energy and he has talent. not just a band member's kid. Just saw them in Milwaukee again last month, Daxx really has talent. BTW, they sound as good as ever.

These guys are my favorite band growing up and today.I always thought Bun E. Carlos looked like a used car salesman with his look and mannerism on video.

I saw this band play 85 times! I'm a true fan. Although I'm more into the 70's Cheap Trick, tis is a great track.

This song I will forever associate with 2023… new people in my life who have come and gone within months, yet I stuck to my guts. This is a such an outlandish song and I love it. Definitely one of Cheap Trick’s best works. When I hear this, I will forever think of 2023 and the people I have met that year.

I love this song - only Robin could sing it. The bass players that replaced Tom are great but i'm glad he's back.

Fall of ‘85 ... I was 16 - Love Trick so much - They played a show in my town the night of my Bachelor party. I took 100 people and They put on a clinic! I bragged on them as a musician myself in the Seattle scene, being from a town nearby Rockford - Every artist from that scene worth their salt will also name-check this band. Unpretentious rock and roll - Great Songs, musicians. I could go on and on. I wish them all well as I’ve read about some business problems. It always starts out as fun, but ...

The two songs by Cheap Trick i hear the most are The Flame and I Want You To Want Me, but in my opinion this is their best song. This is the song that goes through my head even though i mess up some of the lyrics.

Always liked the concept of Cheap Trick, two cool guys and two nerdy guys form a cool band. Great song by an underrated band in my opinion but very good, ¡¡¡CHEAP TRICK!!! 👍😉 Clear voice. Love it
