You guys should definitely at least make an attempt to cook some whole doves instead of breasting them out... Just once, pluck them whole and keep the skin on, soft boil with some garlic cloves, pull them and dry them off, season and roast in the oven whole. I’m Mexican so how I eat dove is, first you make some refried beans and make nice spicy salsa. Then you cook the dove in a pan with some olive oil until ready and then throw in the dove into the beans smother it together and enjoy it with some tortillas!
