Hey, I own this oxelo pair of skates, did not have the replacement axles though, so once the break off, I just compensated the loss of thickness with big washers, and it was fine. I used this pair a freaking lot (8hrs/day), and it was good, really, very comfortable, and so light. Don't expect to slide or jump with it and actually keep'em in one piece for long, and do not expect either to do some great free style : your feet have some room, but they're quite solid for what they are. In fact I trust their frame a lot more than those thin aluminum non removable frames from FILA. The wheels are crap, but can be replace with 80mm if you want. Great model for total beginners !

Before a week ago i hadn’t been on skates in close to twenty years. I had a set of ‘rollerblades’, the original ones from the early nineties, they were expensive when new. Because i just got my kids rollerskates, i pulled out my skates to go skate with them. The old plastic was so brittle they fell apart! (Years spent in a hot garage) so i got new ones that look quite nice and were 50 bucks. They work just fine but i notice the arches of my feet hurt when skating. This could be because i’m not longer used to it, but i was wondering if ‘foot support’ is part of what makes a skate good or bad? I don’t remember ever having my feet hurt when i used to go skating. I am 51 years old, and in good shape, i’m quite active, i go cycling daily... this foot pain takes me by surprise. The new skates are K2 brand...

I have the oxello (bought from decathlon), only difference is 80A hardness on the wheels. Been skating with them for about an year. And today I finally went to a skater shop to get seba fr1 or fr2 :) Well they did not have my number [a feeling you might be familliar :P ] (this is an hour ago since this post). But yeah it is true, their top is flexing alot , wheels gets worn out pretty quickly and well ... look ... i bought them for 42euro so they are cheaper than a pair of normal boots :P Hell my protectors costs half of that ... and they were the cheapest as well. But at the time I didn't know if i will like to skate or I will throw them away after 2 attempts/falls, so ... its fine. They were my training wheels so to speak. Seba here i come :) [gotta get my size first tho]... PS the last wheel bolt is longer then the others (because of the added brake). So i have put a washer on both sides to compensate for the width. I removed the brake because i could not do step overs? Well i still can't do them :P But at least i am pretty sure the problem is not the brake :)
@TacitDecadence6 жыл бұрын
You do not need to remove your brake to do crossovers, gotta bend that knee ;) You can find more details here, also it breaks it down to very specific sub exercices. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGjYZ6Cvn9iMf7s

I have a question. I haven't rollerbladed in years, but I got a new pair of Linear Lazer rollerblades (work was paying for them, and that's the brand they would buy) and the track is riveted into the boot. No real surprise, I suppose. Except that the tracks, on closer inspection, are not only too far to the outside of the boot, but the track on the right boot is actually about 1 or 1.5 cm further to the inside of the boot in the front than in the back. Basically, the track is angled inward, but only on one boot. Did I just not notice this when I was younger? Any information is appreciated. Tiago, I love your videos. I mainlined every one of them when I was getting back into skating. Learned more new about skating than I had ever known. Thank you so much

I just have a quick questions about the oxelo skates, oxelo skates are a good brand tbh, i am just wondering if you got them online because it is better to get them irl rather then online because it could come damaged, I have them and they are amazing, its also the locks, there are different types too, I think you got the beginner one though, because if you get the intermediate roller blades it will be like the sever eagers, also forgot to mention the diff types of oxelo skates can adjust too, aswell as the professional ones.

Hi, I wonder what is the difference between hard wheels and soft wheels?
@clray1236 жыл бұрын
Soft wheels stick to the ground more and are slower, more tiresome and in general less fun because of that, but "safer". Hard wheels tend to slip out sideways and make skating not so fun on slippery (e.g. wet or indoor rink) surfaces. Even so, given a choice between hard and soft, hard is usually the way to go for outdoor skating.
