Koch is a German last name pronounced "Coke". It's really easy - "Coke - Chemie". and "Chemie is not pronounced "shemie" just like chemicals is not pronounced "shemicals".

When it was just a hobby I really enjoyed the ease of use of the CG Nonsense cleaner. Always used it on dirty mucky door sills and trim. Now that I’ve got a business to run I’ve switched to KC Pol Star for the dilutabilty (10 1L bottles I can make out of 1L of Pol Star diluted 10:1)

I think having a 16 oz RTU and gallon concentrate is the best way to go with products like this.

I started out detailing with chemical guys stuff, and i now use mainly koch chemie stuff, I use pol star now but nonsense was one of the few products from chemical guys that i would still say it a good product.

White unprotected Tesla seats are a very good challenge for an interior clean especially against dye transfer from pants (jeans and scrubs… wife’s car). For maintenance I have been using Chemical Guys Total Interior Cleaner straight since I use it for general cleaning everything as my “safe” apc including the household. However, it cannot remove dye transfer. The only cleaner I have found to be effective without being damaging to the seats thus far is Super Cleaner by Car Guys.

Why are people obsessed with foam? I don't get it. And that whole interior could have been cleaned up with an ONR dampened MF towel and you'd be in and out in like 5 min and you don't have to worry about cleaning up all that extra foam that you don't need.

I went from P&S Xpress to Pol Star. I like that you have multiple dilution ratios. I do 1:20 on interiors.
@theBtotheJ233 күн бұрын
I use Xpress now. Pol Star at 20 to 1 is strong enough to clean?
@elonsus97473 күн бұрын
I start with the least aggressive ratio, So 1:20 works surprisingly well at cleaning. Pol Star can be diluted to suit different needs, so it can clean as well as Xpress can while being more economical.

I like that the foam didn't last as long, easier to wipe away (to me)! 😉

Jimbo what is your favourite cloth seats cleaner if you have no extractor on shoo vac and maybe a steamer? My kind regards. We love those KC in Europe ..much cheaper here

I'd go with the KC and a steamer, no need for an extractor.

Do I have to dilute these products, and what's the point of doing it? Also, is it easy to dilute, cause I don't understand how to do it?
@autodetailingpodcast17 күн бұрын
You can and don’t have too. Depends on your needs and wants. I would follow as the manufacture says to
@josephfleischer204817 күн бұрын
@autodetailingpodcast does diluting give out better results, and can you get more of a product out of it? Sorry, I'm trying to get into detailing and need info. If you have products in mind for carpets and upholstery, it would be great.
@autodetailingpodcast17 күн бұрын
This is great product for that - jimbosdetailing.com/products/complete-cabin-cleaner?variant=43317395620023 The more diluted a product is the less effective it will be usually.

I use Chemical guys leather cleaner on leather Koch Chemie Pol star on Alcantara ( suede ) the leather cleaner followed by Chemical guys leather conditioner is spot on , great finish and smooth
@TheOutdoorDetailer2 ай бұрын
Chemical Guys smells like chemicals. 😂 i think just adding a good cleaner in the lineup is important just to make you a one stop shop. The one thing i think that makes it better is if you don't need to wipe with a damp towel after. Take Gyeon leather. They tell you to clean but then wipe with a damp towel. Why? Make something that needs nothing after cleaning, and also allows those interior coatings to properly adhere/apply. Oh and Phoenix EOD i think does it great with a kit. You can buy RTU or a concentrate kit that comes with a labeled spray bottle and your choice of different size concentrates.
