I just bought the X7 pro with extension kit, rotary attachment, extension feet, oversize rollers and pre-purchased the air assist. Basically everything they have for the X7. I've had it for about 2 months and used it a handful of times. It behaved glitchy then it started rebooting 1/3 of the way through any job. It did this running from the computer and from the SD card. Atomstack was pretty cool about replacement of the mainboard. No cost, no shipping fee. The new board should arrive 3/11/22, hopefully that will fix the problem. I'll let you know.

Mine arrived yesterday and today I had time to install it. I did not manage to get lightburn finding / connecting to my Atomstak X7 on my MacBook Pro (2013, macOS Big Sur). After many tries and adding the cutter manually (choosing GRBL), I tried lightburn again on my pc laptop. This also didn't work initially, until I choose GRBL. Now it works. Anyway, thanks for your review - I checked this video with the hope of seeing how you connected lightburn on your Mac to your X7. :)

You keep saying "per second" (10:48 for example) but the printing on the board says per minute. I'm sure it is per minute as it would probably shake the engraver right off your bench at those speeds per second.

Thank you so much for all the amazing information! For weeks now I have been exhaustively researching laser engravers for my first one. I had pretty much decided on the Atomstack A5 Pro until I saw this video, and so glad I did! The question I have is, can you please clarify the differences, if any, in the Atomstack models X7, A10, and S10? I'm getting conflicting information from sellers. Some say there is no difference in the three except for the color of the unit. Another says "S10 Pro is improved performance in all aspects than X7, also it can engraving material including wood, glass, stainless steel, acrylic, etc. and with faster speed and more better results. This will be a better choice for all engraving and cutting enthusiasts." My head is spinning and I figure if anyone can get to the bottom of this, you can! :) Thank you!!

Hi, i contacted the Atomstack customer service yesterday with the same question. The X7 is still the flag ship. The A10 is just an dealer model, it has the same specs and price but it has just another color. The S10 looks like an aliexpress dealer model but the S10 is not mentioned on the official Atomstack site.

@@RetroglowSystems Thank you so much for checking into this. Prior to getting your reply I ordered the S10 Pro from Atomstack Official. I plan to try it out today. Fingers crossed. I was wondering your thoughts on a couple things. As far as a honeycomb worktable, is that needed for engraving or is that only beneficial for engraving? Also, they told me they will be making an air assist available for these machines in February. Having worked with the X7, do you feel that is needed? I will be using mine for engraving mostly...very little cutting. Thanks again!

@@roxannem1206 Mine is still on it's way but i do know a couple of things about laser engraving/cutting. The honeycomb grid only gives an advantage when cutting.
