It would be perfect if it had a small couch or theater seats. Hate the dining table who wants to relax at table when you can have a recliner or couch

Nice, but the only thing I'd say is that roof at 3:48 looks like it has had a lot of foot traffic and scuffs for something that is brand new which makes me wonder if they have had to fix things like roof leaks and stuff already and explains why there are so many marks and what appear to be potential repairs around the vents.

I travel solo with two small dogs. The corner bed works for me. In my current class C the bed is on the slide out and that means when it comes in I have to fold everything up. I long for a bed in a permanent set up position. That bathroom looks good to me too. The size is sufficient. the one beef I would have is the dinette. I wish there was a way to have a smaller dinette and one comfy chair to sit and chill in. After two years in my Jayco Redhawk, I have ripped out my dinette and replaced it with a desk and an executive swivel chair. It does the job for me and it’s way more comfortable. I also have a Chevy 4500 on my class C yes, we chugged a bit up the Rocky Mountains in Colorado but - hey, that’s what the slow lane is for.😂😂

Not a huge fan of the TV in the bunk. Maybe if it had a U shaped dinette with something over the sink, that would be better. I like the storage in the back outside. I especially like the heated tanks. They did pretty well with limited space.
@joshmatthews3450 Жыл бұрын
They’re cheaper because they’re worse. Listen, Class C ‘s (and B+’s) are definitely a lot more liveable, don’t get me wrong. I’ve camped in everything, and Class B camping is for close couples only. That being said, if you’re okay with the amount of living space, they’re built way better than any chassis RV. They’re held to automotive industry standards that chassis RV’s don’t have to abide by. RV builders are held to little regulation and that’s a big reason why they are full of problems. Class B platforms are built in tightly-regulated factories. Makes a huge difference in quality.
@markjung2766 Жыл бұрын
I've never owned an RV but want to buy one. Interesting what you wrote about factory standards for the Bs -- I'd never thought of that. Let me ask you this: what did you think about Matt saying this Class C was only "this much wider" than a B? When I look at a C, I see the long side-view mirrors (compared to a B) that must make a C three feet wider than a B when you measure from side-mirror to side-mirror. There are so many narrow streets and state routes where I want to travel and there are semis coming the other way! Do people often get their side-view mirrors clipped off and destroyed by another wide vehicle traveling the other direction, or even the same direction? The whole reason I'm going to buy a B is because I don't like the width of the C when you factor in the side mirrors.

We have owned that unit on a Ford E350 chassis for ten years and love it. Ours has a u-shaped wraparound dinette that makes lounging to watch TV a lot more comfortable. The bed is great, the closet gives us plenty of room for clothes. We split our closet, 2/3 for shelves with plastic ‘drawers’, 1/3 for jackets, shirts, blouses, etc. Toilet and shower are comfy, without feeling crowded. I would prefer a larger sink, but the wife says it is fine. We do not have an oven in our unit, but we only used the oven in our camper, and later our trailer, maybe ten times total in 30 years, so we do not miss having an oven. We installed two 12V batteries and have plenty of power (batteries are under the entry steps). I installed an AC inverter and a night light for the grandkids over the power supply/power distribution center, and used one of the unused fused lines for power, so we have AC power anytime. This unit has been just fine for us. Joe

Super little review....I think the price is high for a simple no slide C..what I like is it is a very small c with exactly how Matt has categorized, replacing the B or B plus; with the ability to see out of the back and sides with windows, mirrors and the side cameras.., I love that is able to hold the true 40 gal of water which is superb for a 3-5 day expanse off grid and if you buy this size with better clearance,,,you want that...and the shower water saver, with not one but 2 of the superb kind of fantastic fans and the AC that may just work for hot places and we all seek that sweet temp spot. The nice size table booth and flip up counter are nice and close for 2 people who are just good friends to cook and set a nice table together and take a weekend...there is always a nice sized sleeping area for 2 people with that much wider, deeper and higher bunk Leaving the table and seating always free for 2 , the one window by your head to look out and open in the morning in both sleeping areas...one of bests part of camping to me, that early morning forest air..... My memories were many times getting the bunk in the upper area of whatever camper and I love that,,,rode in good family friend's truck camper bunk always to the ski hill and hr south of our homes at time and in summer when camping together with several families,,,, those memories just make the upper bunk cool. No window or too narrow makes it not cool and for longevity purposes I do prefer window at head. In small rig still lots of light w/o the cool front window,,,, Even without the pantry I think you could take a fourth of closet for that kind of hanging strong cloth cubby thing for light enough kitchen storage and the one LONG drawer easy to pull under one booth seat really helps that. I do not mind blinds...whatever in this size and even w/one sink you carry another little (now they fold out and collapse) basin for dish rinsing and cooking peelings collecting etc. and good to go. They had a solar panel too and non back breaking storage is great for your outside area stuff, the extra cooler and any easy to get to and set up or need to just have handy thing,,,I think you can really make things easier by far with that area. Prefer a shower door, love the porcelain potty and the real big bathroom mirror medicine and stuff NEEDED cabinet...that is cool. They have started skipping these way too much. I think you could enjoy the TV outside and Inside main flex arm one in both main bed and table...so no third tv deal....these small things often have that ans just a lot to keep up. That one solar pannel and 2 fans are wonderful helping to keep cool and energy with 30 amp. But with smaller tv amt, cheaper blinds and no shower door and not the fancier more expensive one piece front cab part and just less all over of "stuff" needed in even a 3 foot longer one..I know it is our times..but the suggested retail to me should be 110 and 89 plus whatever Matt price and ability to get slightly better could be. An Almost Perfect option for my sturdy enough and clearance enough fears of a B van or B plus for my area...so much so and so much less for new when comparing to even slightly used B plus or C and can we say 7 foot interior...that is huge...anyway I am calling my dream campground just to see if 24 feet and 7 inches plus another 2 with ladder would be an accept on a 25 foot minimum they want...I would think being a regular C and only issue they have is length for enough uniformity......just the slightly bigger look would indeed make this one heck of an entry option for me and an often solo overnight passenger.

Six inches!!!! Gulfstream has the same floor plan but uses a 60” queen bed. Six more inches of sleeping space. I don’t know how they do it. Why you put so much emphasis on the bath shower and prime poop position while no one spend more than 5-10 minutes in the bathroom yet most of us spend hours in bed is a mystery. I wish manufactures would realize that most campers put a premium on their beds and kitchens. I never use the bathroom unless it’s late at night. Otherwise most campground have great facilities to shower and poop. Who wants to pump out all the time anyway. Give us a queen bed.

My likes are the small size, the lack of slide outs, and the corner bed, all of which work well for just me. My dislikes this time around are not about something being wrong with the RV, and are just about what works for me. #1 is the shower size. I've come to the conclusion that I won't settle for anything smaller than a 30"x36". I'm a little taller and wider than average, and I just hate bumping my elbows on a wall, so that 24"x36" won't work for me. #2 is the dinette. I don't need room to seat four people for meals, and would rather have a sofa that doesn't take up as much space. #3 is the bunk over the cab. I could use it for storage, but I don't need it to sleep anyone, and would rather have a lower profile roof with a larger rear facing TV and some storage in that area. Also I agree with Andrea about the step and the wardrobe. I would trip over the step repeatedly, and the wardrobe should have a middle divider where you could have hanging space on both sides, adjustable/removable shelves on both sides, or a mix of both.

Hey Matt you need to do some more research on the GM specs on that Chevy chassis. It is a 6.6 Liter V8 option code L8T your horsepower number is correct at 401, it has more horsepower and torque than the 7.3 Ford V8. Also the GM 4500 chassis is the same (if not exact with in a few hundred pounds i believe 14300) GVWR as the Ford E450. Then 3500 would equal a E350. around 12000 gvwr.
